Gandalf name in Valinor was Olorin and he come to Middle-Earth with four another mages.Their quest was to slay Sauron, in this mission Gandalf,the Shire and every place of Middle-Earth was fallen in darkness that was only for Middle-Earth Gandalf form in Middle-Earth was gone but the spirit of Gandalf returned to Valinor.He is like Sauron only his life is with the Vala and then when Valinor falls he will fall also it like the Dark Lord and the Ring they are One.

Gandalf isn't immortal, but Olórin is. Even though they are the same, Mithrandir's body can be killed, despite it is not likely he'd have expired of age, had not those dark events occurred. However, if they had not, he would've never come to Middle-Earth to begin with. Thus, his bodily form can be killed, but his fëa would only return to Valinor.

I killed Gandalf using Saurons special attack which sucks out their soul.

I dont know how I did it, but you see a blue/puruple ghost of whoever he uses that attack on ripped out of their bodies and into his hand.

I think it's a finishing move as Gandalf was very weak when I delivered the final blow.

Saruman is also a maiar, and the Balrog and who would of known, Sauron is one aswell. Gandalf is kinda immortal yes, he cannot be killed. When sauron "died" when the ring got destroyed he didn't really die. Sauron is still alive.

it think sauron really is dead because he put all of his essence into that ring. When it was destroyed, he was too. That was why the ring was so important. Sauron poured all of his power and essence into it. In a way it made him invulnerable, in a way, it made it his only weakness. Sarumon didnt come back like gandalf did because gandalf destroyed his staff. Thus, Sarumon was no longer part of the white council or an istari.

He poured all his Cruelty, his Malice and his will to dominate all life. Only three things did he place into it. When the Ring was destroyed all of his Cruelty, and his Malice and his very will for life, vanished. He became a Shadow, an invisible black shadow wich nobody can see or interact with. This is something people call "Cast into the void". He's alive.

However it is said that Gollum is tortured by the 4 fingered hand of the Dark Lord himself. It is also said that he built himself a new body, but without the ring he couldnt use it.

Play in mount doom in conquest mode be aware though that when you get sauron the enemy will pick many scouts to backstab you so be on your guard.
