@vousmecompletez Almost every idea just started w/ thinking about the things we love. Like I knew I wanted to include Harry Potter (because it's a big part of MY life) but not as the theme since it didn't relate to US as a couple. Well, when we didn't have any other ideas for a union ceremony, I came up w/ the love potion. And I wanted to hold my wand without looking insane so I had the flower-maker make it the handle of my bouquet. Also, Offbeat Bride is an excellent site especially the forums

@googoopanda Thank you! My wonderful dressmaker, Melanie, worked with me to make my dream dress a reality. She did all the hard work! I believe she found the crinoline in purple and teal and then just sewed it together in the petticoat herself. I'm not sure how she created the corset part but I just bought the shoelaces from Hot Topic lol
