16 year old Junior in high school (turning 17 next month) and I wish I could vote for Ron Paul . I'm trying very hard to get the word out about him, but I rarely have the chance to do it. I'm trying to talk about him in my US History class when we debate presidents, but it's very hard for me. Throughout the semester, I've only had the chance to mention him once or twice. Trying to work on that.

The only thing I disagree with Adam on is his belief that we're evolved animals. That says that the moral standard we live by, do not kill, do not steal, ect., doesn't exist. Then you'd have to replace that with a subjective morality, giving way for the allowance of any individual to behave in anyway shape or form that they would like—kill, steal, ect.

Libertarianism makes so much sense to kids, because they haven't been tainted by "the way it is". Adults become conditioned by the status-quo, so they say things like "we all have to pay taxes, that's just the way it is", "there's always war, that's just the way it is". But kids look at things more fundamentally than that. Stealing is bad, no exception for government. Killing is bad, no exception for government. That's why kids are libertarians.
