the council are been retardes they knock down our only way of not turning to crime,me and a few mates are gunna see if we get a petetion to ensure the jumps stay put,but we doubt it will have any effect.
Used to absolutley love this place. untill the council bulldozed it again 4 the 3rd time. None of the good people go there anymore though, only around 5 jumps left that me and a few mates built
I was walking through there yesterday. I was always down in the woods when i was younger, i didnt know they actually were Air-raid bunkers, i never knew the purpose. They put a huge metal door over the biggest one with the loudest alarm you have ever heard. Scared the crap out of me. I only touched the handle.
I heard it was a couple of floors deep underground but most is underwater now.
mountain bikes are great fun bt you have to pedal back up the hill!

I'm a middle aged local taxpayer and wish the Council would butt out and stop messing around with an ace local venue.
Credit to these STUNT DUDES - it should be FUNDED by the Council not removed.
The same Council whinge that there are health and safety issues to riding in Golden Acre !!
Didnt have mountain bikes in 1968.

I'm a middle aged Adel Resident that these dude would think an 'ol-phart'.
The jumps look excellent and I'm annoyed the Council wastes my money removing such an ace local resource.
It should be funded and better resourced.
I'm behind 'em 110%.

Just for info: There is an air raid shelter in Adel woods that me and my mates used to explore many moons ago (not for the claustrophobic though)
