Ten dollars an hour is what I make working for wal mart right now. Which is the equivalent of less than six dollars an hour compared to the buying power of the dollar twenty-five years ago. Which is why I remain part time. Also, in the recent news is that wal-mart has lowered it's insurance benefits for all it's long term employee's. Walmart DOESN'T EVEN REHIRE ITS EMPLOYEES! Or at least not me. I was a good enough cashier, and I worked there for almost 2 months. I worked full-time, too. They even told me on my last day that I could get rehired for xmas break (I was a college student at the time). I reapplied during school breaks like 3 or 4 times, at least, since then. NOT ONCE did I ever get a rehire offer! Then when I called them up, they tell me that it's cuz I got a bad score on their damn assessment.

I just heard today that when I left Wal-Mart, people I worked with clapped. I was a thorn in their side everyday because they were treating me so badly, that I wasn't one of those people who just shut up and took it, I spoke out against them and I continue to do so to this day. You should come to a wal-mart in kentucky and see how much the people make. They might start out at mininum wage now but they are very underpaid. And we have the worst merchandise of anybody. I know. I worked the floor for a year and then I was a cashier for a year. I absolutely hated it. They start you out now as part-time so they do not have to pay any benefits to the people. I actually worked for wal-mart at 2 different stores and I know the proceducre.
People will work for what they can get until they are dead from the diseases they get from lack of taking care of themselves. Their money won't buy what they need.
Where was this man's morality and ethics from the beginning? Didn't he know those subordinates were human beings? Did he have no sense of justice? What took him so long to see the light. Really, the man's lucky he still has kneecaps and is walking.

Ten dollars an hour is what I make working for wal mart right now. Which is the equivalent of less than six dollars an hour compared to the buying power of the dollar twenty-five years ago. Which is why I remain part time. Also, in the recent news is that wal-mart has lowered it's insurance benefits for all it's long term employee's. That said, I despise unions but unions are the only answer to the low wages being paid to associates today.

Walmart DOESN'T EVEN REHIRE ITS EMPLOYEES! Or at least not me. I was a good enough cashier, and I worked there for almost 2 months. I worked full-time, too. They even told me on my last day that I could get rehired for xmas break (I was a college student at the time). I reapplied during school breaks like 3 or 4 times, at least, since then. NOT ONCE did I ever get a rehire offer! Then when I called them up, they tell me that it's cuz I got a bad score on their damn assessment.

They barely pay their employees minimum wage and then throw them away like a peice of trash when they don't perform. I just wanted to be treated fairly and the way I got treated had to do much less with money than it did kindness. Sort of the way you are treating me now. Like I'm stupid. I just heard today that when I left Wal-Mart, people I worked with clapped. I was a thorn in their side everyday because they were treating me so badly, that I wasn't one of those people who just shut up and took it, I spoke out against them and I continue to do so to this day. I would complain through their so called open door policy and would get written up each time I did. These people are brutal. This man in this video knows what he's talking about. I was one of their victims.

@Zimmer89TH Since I have quit I have boycotted Wal-Mart. I no longer shop there. I will pay higher prices, but I will not shop at Wal-Mart. Some days the anger is so much in me that I feel like picking up a sign and going to picket them. As far as the customers go, there are alot more kinder customers than there are Managers and sheep like associates who get on the band wagon because they are afraid to stand up for someone they know is getting abused by Management.

You could come in there two days and jump to manager if you have the skills. This is why nepotism, and other things go on. These people have no conscious. You should come to a wal-mart in kentucky and see how much the people make. They might start out at mininum wage now but they are very underpaid. And we have the worst merchandise of anybody. I know. I worked the floor for a year and then I was a cashier for a year. I absolutely hated it. They start you out now as part-time so they do not have to pay any benefits to the people. I actually worked for wal-mart at 2 different stores and I know the proceducre.
