  • @MyBeautyful1 Thanx and no it doesn't. Ive heard that the jars vary though. Sometimes it depends on whether or not u get a bad jar.

  • @MyBeautyful1 i know i am late, but yes, i have experienced the dry flakes that look like dandruff when i use the Cantu Shea Butter Leave In Conditioner.

i still use it, but i try to use less at a time...

  • I enjoyed your video, and agreed with what you said concerning the products that I have tried. I am interested in the Garnier wax and hope it works well in my hair. I thank you for posting 4b,c hair, I am thankful for the other texture video's that I started out with but this was needed so that I can really see how my hair may turn out closer to with products or styles. Is that Cantu rinse out a shampoo, if so is it sulfate free?

  • @rebarenee7 The cantu rinse out is a conditioner. They have a regular shampoo as well. Theres also that cantu leave in conditioner. I use them altogether. theyre all sulfate free according to the label and the leave in is waterbased

  • @lovepigz2007 hey i just wanted to say thanks for the info you posted. i have been natural for almost three years and i am always trying to find different products that work well in my hair. I am a cosmetologists and I have shelf on top of shelf full of products, trying to find that right one for my hair. i am glad i ran into you. i am new to the youtube account thing. but i think that i subscribed. not sure if i did it right. but anyway, looking forward to seeing more stuff.

  • Where did you get the Vitamin product from?

  • @cuttinup97 I got that from Walgreens. CVS carries it also and I believe I saw it in Walmart as well.

  • @lovepigz2007 I wll look for it thanks but the Brilliantine Shine is the bomb! used it to slick down.Great shine just wish it lasted longer for me. Will be stocking upt!!! Thanks for the heads up!! 4A/4B hair.

  • Wow! I enjoyed your video sooooo helpful. I been going natural for 10 months and didnt know for sure if i was an 4c or not well i am. Your video help point me to the right direction THANKS!

  • Love the look! Very Lauryn Hill -esque!

  • Loved, loved, loved your video....I have 4c hair texture, too and my hair looks just like yours after my twist out but I haven't felt that I should wear it out like that until I saw yours. If that is what mines looks like, then I will start wearing it out this week!! I feel like I can really relate to you....so thank you so much!!!

  • Finally, some videos for 4c hair types. Not to insult other hair types but, I am a 4c and I find it so hard to find good moisturizing shampoos and conditioners for my hair. When I go shopping I find a lot of hair products that say they help with moisturizing dry hair, I just don’t know which one to trust because I have spent so much money on BS hair products. Thx for the video, I will look into the Cantu hair line.

  • love your channel !!!

  • i didnt catch where you got the purple Vitamin product from... can you clue me in please?

  • Like the video... I am 4b/4c and although I've pressed my hair a couple of times... I want to really go with a natural no-heat style. I just bought the Cantu leave in conditioner but haven't used yet. I will go get the other products from Cantu. Also I saw your note on Sta Sof Fro... someone else mentioned this as well. How do you apply? Do you apply after your Cantu routine (wash, condition, leave in condition)?

  • @keisasharpe Thanks ..I really dont have much of a routine. I go with what my hair needs at a particular time, but i actually made a video about the Sta Sof Fro and wasn't able to upload it. I never use those two products together. Cantu & SSF) If I use the sta sof fro, I use it after i wash my hair and I always use it alone. The only thing about is that I use it EXCLUSIVELY for fros. It's not a styling spray atall, but it will definitely soften your hair a whole lott!!

  • @lovepigz2007 Thanks for your response! I'm rocking a twist out on most days now. Again, thanks!!!

  • your very beauitful, luv your hair

  • so did u use the fantasia ic or da ganier for ur twist out?

  • None of the beauty stores had those hair nets! I looked everywhere today and had no luck...

  • Thankyou so much for your video! I do not know what I am doing girl! Im soooo glad I found you, cause everyone else seems to have that easy mosturized hair. NOT ME! I will be following you from here out on this hair journey! I just started about a month and a half ago and I was tempted to go back to the relaxer but now I am inspired to go on! Thanks!

  • I'm 4b n my hair gets dry easily. The moisturizer i've been using now just sits on my hair and doesn't absorb so i'm looking for another cream. i usually like spray leave-in moisturizers because you don't have to touch the hair to moisturize, just spray and i use giovanni right now, but it usually feels like my hair needs more moisture after that so i always have to use a cream and i have been. I've going to go look for the cantu shea butter cream n i hope it'll help with shine 2. ur pretty btw

  • @tdottchickk I have 4c hair and nothing worked for my hair. I cannot use any type of oil, it makes my hair so much drier. I am 56 years old and I used to wear a fro in the 70s but just remember how I kept it moist. I used Jergens lotion. I am now using Jergens Ultra Healing lotion on my twist and it is keeping my hair very moist and it is really starting to grow.

  • @Mew0116, I am going to try the Jergens lotion. Thanks!!

  • @zippyspring You will be surprise as to how your hair will love the lotions. My hair is growing like wildflowers. I am going to have my granddaughter take pictures to show the progress. I also love the Garnier sleek and shine leave in. It has the creamy consistency our hair needs also and it works great! Our hair type hates any greasey type of products. Keep my posted about your results using the lotion.

  • girl im about to subcribe maybe you can help me im guessing im 4b but dont know pleaze help

  • Thanks so much for sharing your products with me I am a 4c I did my BC in sep 2009 and I have excessive dried hair it's so hard to manage and doesn't take a lot of products. And there's time where I wanted to go back to relaxers because of all the frustration, but after watching your video you have inspired me and Im so glad I can relate to someone with my hair type I will subscribe please let me know when you get updates, thanks again sista

  • If you havent already, please go purchase "sta-sof Fro by Soft Sheen Carson. It is absolutely unbelievable how soft and moisturized that stuff will make your hair and catch this....its about $4 and one application lasts about 3 days meaning; spray it all over, let it sit, then massage it in and you wont have to do that again for 3-4 days. its crazy! cuz my hair used to get that irritating sap dry untouchable feel, but not anymore..give it a try!

  • I have 4b and 4c hair I think..notice I said I think anywho, I uses the Sta So Fro for my hair ( brown bottle) it works great.

  • stay-sof-fro has lanolin in it. is that good for the hair?

  • wow..your vid was very informative!! Your hair style is too cute!! Been meaning to try Cantu for a while!! thanks for sharing!! :)

  • Great video, this was really helpful.

  • You're very beautiful and so is your hair. Thanks for the tips on these products. I'm natural with 4b/4c hair and I tend to wear braids a lot. When I take them out I'm not sure of what products to use. Nothing seems to help. But, I will definitely give these a try. They're affordable as well. Thanks again!

    Kiera

  • Thank you for your kind words.

  • Hey you described my hair when you said yours was hard to curl...I use cantu and it works for my hair...the 3rd container that I bought was runny,,,I guess it was a bad batch, I check now before purchasing it.I agree with you that the leave in it doesnt work on all types of hair....If i had bought the 3rd container first I would never have bought it again. Your hair looks fabulous by the way!!

  • Perfect video! Very informative and to the point just like i like it. Thank you soooo much!

  • ur welcome!

  • Hey love, how do you find out what your hair type is?

  • Thank you sooo much! Very simple and to the point!

  • I appreciate the helpful information. I am totally sold on Cantu Shea products. Many natural hair wearers have gone from using shampoo to no pooing. I see that you still use shampoo. Is there a reason you shampoo instead of no-poo. My hair is the same texture as yours. I love the vid. I will be checking back to see what new vids you have uploaded. Peace,

  • Thanks so much for that review. I'm 4c, too. Love your hair your so cute! "Happy Holidays" to you and your family. God bless.

  • Thank you and Same to you!

  • Hey I'm a 4C I have no curl pattern what so ever, I have not tried the Cantu shampoo, cond. but I have tried the Olive oil & the no drip scalp oil(thick) I like the olive oil cos its good for your hair.. Your hair looks really nice.. I have done a Avocondo mix with honey,EVOO,mayo,Egg, and I did a hour protein treatment.. love ur video.

  • I'm a 4c also. I have about 2 inches of natural growth now. I use the CANTU Shea Butter leave in - the jar. It's good. I also use shea butter, coconut oil, and olive oil mixed together with sweet almond oil. I've received great advice from Napturalserenity. I'll come back and check on your updates. Thanks and be BLESSED.

  • Okay im gonna check her out!

  • I agree that cantu shea butter leave in is my lover...and u are gorgeous!

  • thank you!

  • love your hair!!!!..you are too cute...great video!

  • Thank you much! :-)

  • Thanks for the products review. I just did my BC and just by looking at my hair right now, I think my hair texture is a 4c. Can you give me the name of the garnier frutics product? I'm trying to find something for my wash and go's if its possible to use that. I know it's asking a lot, but can you share some tips with me about your BC...thanks a lot.

  • No problem! I cut my hair March 21 of this year and ive been growing it out every since. This is my 8th month. When I first cut my hair, I only used refined shea butter and oil. I hardly wash my hair cuz I don't get dandruff! and I find that my hair holds moisture well when I sleep in a plastic cap. I find that moisture is the key for 4C hair texture. The Garnier Fructis product is called brilliantine shine water-based shine wax. It comes in a small round container @ walmart. It smells good too!

  • I think I have the moisture thing down. I also use shea butter and coconut oil in my hair to keep it moisturized. What month did you actually start doing twist and twist outs on your hair? My hair is semi-long enough, but still really short. Did you do anything special to your fro when you had to go out?

  • I started doing the twists and twistouts about a month ago actually. The beginning of October. As far as the fro, I didnt really do anything special i just laid down the front with ic fantasia gel and put a band on it and thats it. It was practically effortless! :-)

  • BTW thanks for answering all my questions. just wanted some sort of direction in this whole process

  • U Got it!

  • Thanks for the review!

  • No Prob!
