To be honest i dont really know what is there to post lyrics for. I mean, the song is great, surely its a melodical wonder... But those lyrics were most probably written in a major hangover and make no real sense whatsoever. Which is a shame for a song of that caliber. If you ask me, there should be a version clearly labeled WITHOUT LYRICS so people can really enjoy the song.

In the beginning of the song he is talking about being invaded, and then he talks about having to fight the invaders out of their homeland, and then he goes on to say that we are united (like an army) and then says don't give up, and pretty much he's saying keep on fighting, keep on resisting. Then he says that they (the enemy) can try to beat us, but we will keep on driving them away, and never stop.. because we are united.

@ErnestGaskin So.. that being said, the main idea of the song can be interpreted in a few different ways. It can be seen as a war.. which I think is the most obvious explanation, or it can be about a group of people standing up for themselves against a larger group of people that is against them.

This could make sense... if Rob Halford is talking about being united over Gay rights, and he's saying that they (the gays) will never stop fighting, because they are united and will never quit.

Maybe your thinking mainstream hit, but Judas priest definitely has over 30 "hits", and Iron Maiden and Motor Head have about that many.
