Love the Donnas for thier aesthetic, the juxtaposition of thier girl-next-door looks with the raw adolescent angst. Allison can play...no doubt. I give props just for them taking it from 8th grade to 28...a great run for a few good tunes and a bunch of covers.

There is a lot of discussion about the Runaways' trail blazing...maybe...I think of Joplin more as the trail blazer.

For my taste, I'll take L7, Bikini Kill, Bratmobile, Hole...but I'm a 90's kid and always will be.
