CNN should have never gotten rid of this segment. This was 10-11 years ago. Now games gave actually gotten bigger and more popular (with the exception of the pc) but they don't have this show anymore. Weird.

Back then (2001 or 2002) the graphics for Black and White 1 were amazing. And the game play, plus story, was mega unique, making it one of the best games ever made.

Black and white rocks. Yeah BW2 Has a few good points but you buy everything; quests are easier and you can simply kill everything with an army instead of converting them peacefully or at least hurling fireballs at them

Wow. This Game is way more in depth than the second one. More stuff to do and tatoos for you creatures! The only cool thing about BW2 is the graphics and the Wonders. I am dissapointed.

In the beginning you can only get 3. If you download a patch, you can get a few more on the first and fourth island.

Otherwise, throughout the game, through quests, you will have the opportunity to switch them..

When you switch, everything it already learned goes to the other one.

You get more, but you do quests e.t.c for them. You get a choice of three at the beginning

On Black and White 2, you just get led around by boring goals, like "Retrieve 5,000 food" to get points to unlock stuff. There is less substance...People used to like the consciences and the villagers, but now they're just annoying and not lovable...There is no freedom and players feel less responsible to take care of towns. The graphics may be a lot better, plus the battles are cool, but the original had more freedom and revolutionized gameplay using a nice, free interface.

I played Black and White over and over and not once did I find a single bug that everyone keeps whining about! Of course, I never made it to the last level because I kept getting stumped on what I believe was the level where the snow god kidnaps your creature in the force field. It's hard invading towns without a creature!

yeah that level sucks, the one after it though is SO much harder! I'll just give you a quick description:

Revisit the first level,

Nemesis has destroyed it,

Its raining fire,

Theres lots of lightning,

Theres ogres that show up and steal villagers.

But i managed to finish it and now have about 2500 people living on the island :-D
