  • But she's really brave and her song has a really correct message so shut up and don't give any bad comments.

  • SAVE FREE SPEECH!!!, the government are trying to take over the internet then put a tax on it, help save it by signing this petition please!! GO TO petition.org.au

  • aahhhh its so funnnnnyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what the fuck.... IS THIS SHIT. FAT LADY MADE MY BABY BRO CRY JESUS CHRIST!

  • But I guess if you trust Obama better than the experts and leaders providing you with $20/month 20mbps speeds, then I guess it'd be hard to make you see the issue from another perspective. But at least know that there is another perspective. And it's a legitimate one. Here's a good example in regards to the slow development of 4G phones: networkworld(dot)com/news/2010/060710-tech-argument-att-verizon(dot)html (14th paragraph)

    @FunnyGuy5051

The cute people are making videos for "big business"

  • *theirs

  • @Sprocketman

You don't have a right to what companies work hard to provide for you. They can do whatever they want with it. It's there's. If you don't like it, start your own ISP. Too hard? Well, now you see why they can do whatever the fuck they want. As far as your conspiracy theory about Fox News/Glenn Beck, I'm sorry but you're wrong. Even the fucking retards on the left know that Net Neutrality creates new government regulatory power and punishes businesses--that's just a fact.

  • havent seen this in a mad long time

  • nice song but cant they get cute ppl?

  • couldn't pass 40 seconds without having to stop this video... makes me want to throw up for some reason.

  • @XaneCrazy Either research the four years that passed between this video's posting and your comment, or kiss off.

It's not the hostility I mind, it's the willfull ignorance.

  • @Sprocketman I was just making fun of how the people looked (in my perception.) I don't see where I was actually denying or validating any statements. I was just making jokes?

  • @XaneCrazy Sorry man. Fox News and Glenn Beck launched a blitz last week against net neutrality, so all of a sudden it's now a big issue and totally wasn't debated until now, it's totally Obama's plot to take over the internet, haven't you heard?

Yeah, they are...feebs, aren't they? Especially the Peter Pan guy. Man, the laugh I had when I found his site eight years ago. HAH!

  • So these rejects are supposed to actually make something happen in the real world? That doesn't make sense, because aren't they internet famous for being ineffective in the real world.....

  • I LOL'd

  • It's your government.....Big business....is trying to survive in spite of big government. Keep learning kids!

  • lol tht dde ine peter pan thing was so gay but funny

  • FAIL!

Government + internet = FASCIST CONTROL

Government should know it's place and STAY THE HELL OUT!

  • Yeah, Net Neutrality is a load of crap! The reason the internet is great is because the government has kept it's fascist hands out of the picture. If you allow our government to start regulating the internet your online free speech, online privacy, and online dirty habits will be next.

Can anyone post a shred of evidence proving that internet service providers are deliberately favoring one site over another???

  • The evidence that some Internet Service Providers are eager to start favoring one website over another (speeding up download of one, slowing down download speed of another) is that they oppose net neutrality!

If they're not going to monkey with the packets, then why would they mind writing a net neutrality commitment into law?

    Right?

It's like passing a law against carjacking. What kind of people would oppose that law? People intent on carjacking!

  • HR5353:

    (2) SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS.—As part of the proceeding under this section, the Commission shall assess—

    (C) whether broadband network providers

offer to consumers parental control protection

tools, services to combat unsolicited commercial

electronic mail, and other similar consumer

services, the manner in which such services are

    offered, and the extent to which such services are consistent with such policies of the United States;

  • I'm telling you... This will open the floodgates to more government control & censorship of the internet. You're first paragraph makes it clear: This is a solution in search of a problem.

If that law against carjacking says everyone must purchase & install a camera in their car, so that "big brother" can protect us all from carjacking 24/7, then people other than those intent on carjacking would hopefully oppose it.

  • By the "logic" in your first paragraph, if you oppose a law that prohibits you from moving to another state, then your opposition is evidence that you intend to move to another state. Net Neutrality is completely unnecessary and a solution in search of a problem, but, please, go ahead sign away our freedom to the federal government. It's for the "greater good" right?

  • ARPA Net the predecessor to the internet was largely a government sponsored program. There has always been regulation that oversaw the Internet, which was born into a world of laws. You can't commit fraud over the internet, or transmit child porn. That IS government regulation of the internet. You anti-government nutjobs are simply too much.

You think you have online privacy? Do you have any clue how many people have been fired in the private sector for Facebook content? Google owns "you".

  • @ mstraney

"You think you have online privacy?"

Privacy can be defined as the ability of an individual or group to seclude themselves or information about themselves and thereby reveal themselves selectively. By this definition, yes, I have a high degree of online privacy. The private sector responds to our desires for greater online privacy. Look at the number of features Facebook and Myspace have implemented VOLUNTARILY in order to provide their customers with greater online privacy.

  • @ mstraney

"Do you have any clue how many people have been fired in the private sector for Facebook content? "

I'm sure thousands of people have been fired from the public and private sectors while exercising their free speech. That's not a problem. Being thrown in jail by the government (not the private sector) for exercising your free speech is a problem.

    "Google owns 'you'."

Explain. Please do so without sounding like a "anti-capitalist nutjob". ^_^

  • Google has all the data that comprises a specific profile which represents you. That is why I put you in quotes. It is a digital representation of you. With Gmail they scan the content of your personal emails for "ad targeting". The profile also contains all of the searches you have ever done. They use this to target advertisers using their ad words service for now. If they hit hard times or get a national security letter under the patriot act then they might turn this information over. enjoy!!!

  • are u a chick or a dude?

  • Dont be fall for this. You put the FCC in control of the internet and you will all regret it.

  • i love leslie<3333

  • Made me laugh right away. Thanks.

  • Shes like the retarded sibling of that "Progressive Insurance" chic.

  • I'm not buying.

  • looks like the girl from the adventures of babysittin,, the one in the bus ststion ha ha ha

  • hey! i kno u! u were on yo gabba gabba!

  • wow Democrats are all for controlling it ....

  • Wtf? o.0

  • savetheinternet - just type that into your search engine.

  • whoa

  • ....wow

what a way to distract from a real movement to protect the internet... SAD

  • WTF?

  • fucking freaks

  • what a well formulated comment. I don't know if I could handle all the intellect contained within your two words.

  • don't hurt yourself now

  • boom

  • What a parade of freaks! Still, I love Leslie.

  • Dude, Tron Guy has got some tight ass flow!

  • AHHH

  • No! We already pay for net access! D=

  • Wow! Who's the dude in the Tron outfit. HE'S SO HOT!!!!

  • Who is the first person? It looks like a woman, although I'm not positive.

  • Leslie Hall <3

  • WTF?!?!

  • i'm the internet, u'r the internet were the internet, now thats the internet EVERYBODY NOW!!!!

  • i have to p[ay for msn now!

    anybody else?x

  • what the hell is going on..? are they raising taxes, or just charging more through the service providers....? Can someone explain. Does this have to do with Arnold Snorkaneggar raising taxes... wussup?

  • corperations want to control the internet so they can make more money. it will be like tv. Google access could be like paying for HBO

  • haha it's not that drastic. Corporations were proposing a two-tiered system for internet service. Slow internet would still be "free," but you would have to pay for faster internet.

The question is: is the internet free anyway?

  • I love the random rathergood appearance!

  • Hahaha randy costan

  • at&t U-verse

  • Why is there no porn. If they talk about Internet, they also have to talk about porn.

  • Because Randy Constan (peter pan) would more than likely be put on the sex offender list lmao

  • no more free stuff... no more money? :( is there a petition,? i wanna sign?

  • AHAHAH!yah i sort of agreee but the internet isnt life rite??

  • Does it have to be the life to be an important issue? Good lord.

  • miss hall!

  • What you couldnt get the Kid from Brooklyn for this?

  • Umm.. in some cases the internet is actually getting cheaper :S

  • rotflol hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • LMAO!!! internet fairys

  • Peter Pan there has been giving me nightmares since '01.

  • lol

  • Awesome video. Very funny. Only problem is the internet has never been free.....and it never will be. I would suspect the more business gets into using it the cheaper it will be for all.

  • Dumbass. It's about free as in freedom, not as in free beer.

  • aaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahhaha

  • complete and utter rubbish

  • i dont understand this at all? is this a worldwide issue or just in the US, why would they charge you to visit myspace and youtube etc? at least i dont live in the us

  • I always wonder how they get all those

up in the sky celebrities to do such videos?

but if you think those community-sites are free,

they sell the adresses around, and know more about you than anyone you know....!

  • it's a series of tubes.

  • This is a bit confusing. It's hard to tell if that list of senators voted for or against charging us for these internet features (I figured it out by looking at some obvious Senators). In fact, there is so much confusion floating around this issue that we may never get people fully informed.

  • I love you Leslie. You're my internet cream queen. Haha

  • wtf is this shit? an ad AGAINST net neutrality?

The problem is not so much that they want to add special fees, but that they are trying to control HOW and WHAT you do while using it.

  • lol when was the internet ever free? we pay for connection and websites are paid through advertisments.youtube has ads. there just subtle

  • You definitely have a point.

I remember many years ago when I was in college, there was a thing called "netzero" and it really was a "free" internet service provider...if you had a phone line and could stand the pop-up ads. ;-)

But it was a good idea!

  • Read the about the campaign on their webpage. You will see that it's nothing to lol at.

  • leslie hall is sooo f****** gorgeous =D

  • ew thats gross

  • skills beyound control....i cant believe this has been up for over a year and i havent seen it........peace....from a member of the national internet

  • wow.....um...this was freaky.

I'm never gonna let my kids watch Peter Pan......EVER AGAIN.

  • wow weird...this makes me not want the internet if its just to see these freaks...lol

but yea definitely no to net neutrality!!!

    save the internet!

  • no?

  • whos the freak peter pan

  • fuck democracy it causes chaos

  • TRON GUY!!!!!

lol, they straight ate a bag of shrooms

  • LOL fregg

  • Peter Pixieeeeee! <3

  • The fact is, none of these things are free. Oh, and if you mean in a democratic way, then, well, no. There is no provision in the Constitution of the United States of America that you should be able to freely access information. Shocked? Well, it is the other way around. People can freely DISTRIBUTE it to you, but you are not entitled to it.

  • You're right in a lot of sense (the internet is not free....to a point) but you destroyed your arguement as soon as you implied that the "commons" won't have internet access and they're only going to jerk off to it for a few years. I have to disagree. People will continue to jerk off to the internet whether it's free or not and by God, you must be out of your mind to believe so many jerk offs can be silenced. Especially, kind sir, when it comes to the internets.

  • Dude, your getting a Dell!

  • dude this is so awesome

  • MOM?? DAD??!?

  • This video is amazing high

  • Sigh. The internet has changed so much in such a short time. Okay, for those of you who don't understand this:

These are ordinary people who became "internet celebrities" for being incredibly nerdy. Cult phenomena from maybe 10 years ago, which means back before a lot of you people were growing hair downstairs. They're poking fun at their former "popularity" to bring attention to the Net Neutrality bill.

  • LOL. Jay, its a joke. Its not ment to have a real meaning. And if it does then its just to get your attention. These people dont REALLY think they can dance.

  • I know, but NORMAL people arn't going to take this seriously.

  • I think their internet celebrity will get the message across better for their outfits. I don't think I'd know who they were dressed normally.

That said, I don't know who the woman is.

  • I've been on the Internet since around 1998, and I don't know who these so called "Internet Celebritys" are.

  • You're not going to get taken seriously in your shiny ass sweater, gold pants, spandex tron suit and gayass peter pan suit.

  • Imagine me Alexa there sliding down your jeans while im slowly......heheh im soo norty, join me here ... Play-Cam(.COM) ...

  • this video is really wierd

  • AHAHHAHAHAHAhAHAAH!!!!!!!!!!!! this is frikin hilarious and catchy.. :]

  • WTH

  • 0:13 LOL

  • LUV IT!!!

  • AHHH TRON GUY lmaoo

  • Save the internet!

  • love it!!!!!!!

  • The best way to combat the mainstream media takeover of the Internet is to only buy music, movies, books, magazines, and newspapers from alternative media, independent studios, and small record labels. Sell/trade any DVDs and CDs you have from the big 6 media conglomerates. Don't use myspace or IGN which are owned by Fox. Don't even look at a trailer to their movies.

  • ok we got leslie hall, the peter pan guy, and some characters from rathergood. Who are the rest of these folks?

  • thewinecone

  • I know one of them is 'tron guy'

  • lol mi calling them all saying: save the internet!!!

  • LOL

  • Google owns Youtube and as a Private company the Government can't get make us pay...what the heck is this crap anyway?

  • omgomg thats so fucking mean!

    DX<

    you ass!

  • ha ha ha ha W..T..F..

  • omg this sux

  • Tron Guy can't sing. LOL. But neither can I. The peter pan guy is gay. LOL. Also those aren't the real two asian boys.

  • haha this song owns :)

virgin media is only exsitent because some gay nerd who didn't lose his virginity yet... hes just jealous that everyone else did and he started this company to stop everyone fdrom having some actual fun

  • lol that fat woman is funny :)

  • It is?! I thought that episode had past! The day governments or corporations restrict the internet, it's the day those responsible will have to fear their lives (I'm certain of that). It would be wise of them not to mess around!

  • Who's the fatass?

  • The fat lady's face is creepy

  • fat lady is leslie hall

  • I think its pretty good but its pretty strange at the same time

  • LOL weird

  • I was surprised after coming from UK seeing the internet and cellphone sucking the money out of the people giving them bullshit cellphones and less speed internet.

  • thats a guy right? The one at the start?

  • dude tron guy rocks

  • i know its sooo gay fats and gays

  • OMFG :))))

  • Holy crap what is that?

  • OH MY GOD WHAT IS IT!??

  • ISPs only SEEM like monopolies. I am using satellite access right now. You want to promote freedom? Keep the government OUT of it. Don't let them own the sky, and keep them from ANY control over the internet. KEEP WHAT IS WORKING NOW, DON'T MAKE UP MORE PROBLEMS FOR GOVERNMENT TO FIX. THAT IS HOW WE GOT THE FEDERAL RESERVE AND THE MESS WE ARE IN TODAY.

  • shut up you goddamn paulsie (did I guess correctly there?) what we have right now is net neutrality, thanks to government intervention. what they're trying to do is get rid of that.

  • we need to save the internet from shit like this

  • i like the ban wearin thwe white

  • i like the ban wearin thwe white
