I like the idea of minimizing into an application, but I worry about forgetting which program has a window minimized into it.
This is my first time watching your video, and I like what I see. If you talk more about MAC's, then I should subscribe to you. Your instrutions match me.
Wow, I didn't think this was gonna teach me anything but it actually did! Nice =]
Question, does anybody else have a weird white square with two blue arrows on it appear as one of the windows when they use expose? I don't get what it does, when I click in it it just goes back to whichever window I was on before I expose'd. It doesn't seem to appear when you use expose in your video.. Don't understand!! :S
@sum520qq is it really a bad thing for windows and os x to steal from each other? all the competition is really just making both apple and microsoft make better innovative software
@sum520qq yes, I use both windows 7 and snow leopard. Im a long time windows 'power user', i think the window previews show in the task bar is just shit. too messy and cluttered. Especially when using programs like ms messenger.
Great video, never new half of these features were in Snow Leopard, I love the rearranging of expose by name or application. Great new intro by the way, as a younger viewer it made me cringe and giggle.
Oh, more to add. SuperDuper needed upgrading to 2.1.6 (the update flagged up when I launched it). Also, I had a lot installed on my iMac, regained just over 60GB of hard drive space. I have rechecked this figure again and again and it is right.
That's impressive, it only recovered 7GB on my MacBook Pro.
One thing I should point out - Leopard calculated disk spaces in base 2, i.e. 1GB was equal to 1,024MB. In Snow Leopard a base 10 system is used, i.e. 1GB is equal to 1,000MB. So you may have recovered less disk space than you thought ;)
Incidentally, nice video. I hadn't yet discovered these shortcuts, thanks for sharing.
Thought I should add. Only a few Snow Leopard problems found. GarageSale, images would not add using the + button, they fixed it. YouTube uploading, weird page not found errors and multi-uploader stopped working due to Google Gears not being updated yet.
that is all?? expose is very poor!!! hehe

Dock Expose is plagiarized from Windows 7s Aero Peek concept.

dont even go there pal
the win 7 taskbar is just like the dock
not to mention gadgets are the same as widgets, and windows search is a slower version of spotlight
ms copies apple on just about everything, so really, dont EVEN GO THERE!!!

Let's take a step back in time ... where did Microsoft get the idea to make a GUI Mouse based OS from?

I'm assuming you're using Screenflow 1.5.4? How is its functionality on Snow Leopard? Have you run into any problems?
BT0003 2 years ago
No problems at all. Running smoothly.

Thank you for the prompt reply. Great video. Picking up a copy of Snow Leopard today.
