If he is what he is claiming to be, then he is violating several rules and regulations that he is still subject to; Not to mention the fact that he is disgracing himself, the uniform and every other current and former Marine that wore the same uniform. This was great i could tell the nypd understood the marine but these guys much like the marine...they take orders from their superiors....little wring wraith scum (not the average beat cop but the way high ups) so just as that marine if he was given an order to light up a village full of women and children he would probably do it if told by higher ups. The Marine Corps Uniform Regulation, MCO P1020.34G prescribes wear of the Marine Corps uniform by retirees and veterans.

Former Marines who are discharged honorably or under honorable conditions from the Marine Corps (even if it's not during wartime service) may wear their uniform while going from the place of discharge to their home of record, within three months after discharge.

Wearing of the uniform or any part thereof at any other time or for any purpose is prohibited.
