I need Help. I uninstalled my sound thing on my laptop and i restarted my computer and then i tried to install the new one and it didnt let me because my old on keeps on installing itself and i cant cancel it. so Now im stuck with sound from my laptop speakers but not any sound on my headphone jack which i usually use.

safe mate, worked with 7. if you unistall driver it reinstalls upon restart, but i just open with comp xp sp2 and it did the job. now i finally rip! chars big ears

@tallblocker1 I recently tried to get stetro mix by following instructions from a video of a user that used the program DriverMax and IDT drivers, it didn't work but I later could get no sound drivers installed so I tried to install Tenkhen's Sigmatel drivers, but they don't work on my VGN-FE880E. You are the best man! You finally made me free again. I can't believe this. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate and have a Sony Vaio VGN-ARE390E and was very frustrated that my Windows 7 driver woulddeny my stereo mix. I as searching for amonth now and was starting to boot back into Windows XP, as I wanted to do my usual recordings. You made it work. Windows 7 approved sigmatel driver!!!!!!!!!!!
