Sup Chuk? What red wine do you recommend to keep in for about 10 years? I have bottle of Vina Alarde reserva 2004 and a bottle of Paisaje de Tupungato 2006 from Argentina Mendoza. What are ur opinions on those and can you recommend any other ones. Great SHOW GO J-E-T-S !!!JETS !!JETS !!JEST!!
Yeah, I agree with danroc - what, Gary doesn't have a second bottle of that wine around? He made it sound like you should write the wine off just because one bottle was slightly corked - not a good explanation of what "corked" is. And, well, his choice of the other Malbec, anyone down here could have told him that... not a good choice, bottom of the barrel commercial stuff. And Pinot from Mendoza, Bosca or not? Nah, try Pinot from Patagonia if you want an area with the right climate.
Great Show. I bought a case of 2000 Trapiche Malbec, it was absolutely great the first 3 years (light, a bit green), terrible in the middle (acidic), but the last 3 years have been fantastic, it just opened up, the green was gone, really good wine (I drank the last bottle 1/2 year ago). It was $12 a bottle back then, great value in my opinion.
great show man but i think u should also go throush australian shiraz by winegrowersdirect

Come back with a more realistic review once you come back from Argentina in March.

Fortunately, Argentina is more than 3 bottles... and for a corked wine, I always give a second chance. Don't you think so?
