I have recently observed a lot of superfluous high fives. I prefer to reserve my high fives for legit circumstances. I'm a fan of the "low ten" or "low five" in which one party offers the low hand(s) and the second party responds with a firm but not painful slap. The action is then reciprocated by the second party turning the hands upward, allowing the first party to respond in kind. HATE the high 2. My buddy Scotty always throws the mid five, fist bump, starfish. LOVE the windmill/Fresh Prince.
