I disagree, abortion should be legal and be a choice for a woman. Think about it, you're still missing little problems/reasons why a woman should have abortions if they need to have one. A foetus is most certainly the opposite of this- it has a heart beat and it grows and continues to grow until it is the age of 16/17. Having a baby conceived through rape can be very emotionally distressing for the woman, and the child can act as a pemanent reminder of what happened to her. The child certainly wouldn't be planned in the case of rape, and the woman would have to form their life around it, and that often wouldn't work out well, and the mother and child would have to live with poor quality of life. All in all it would likely equate to two lives filled with hardships that could be avoided through abortion.

I feel like you're not respecting other peoples opinion, and saying you're 100% correct. You have some very good points, but I feel like you're just kind of sayint that pro-choice people are so tottaly wrong, and they are murderers. You need to understand that everyone has different opinions about it, but in the end, we are all shooting for the same goal, to make the world a better place. The issue of terminating a pregnancy that is the result of rape has nothing to do with what that child will be like later on, or whether or not the mother would feel compelled to rid herself of that child following its birth. After the birth of the child, the option of adoption exists. The issue is the nine months before the birth in which the victim would be unable to escape the memory of her trauma for more than a few seconds. Would you really subject that poor girl to nine months of torture?

A foetus is most certainly the opposite of this- it has a heart beat and it grows and continues to grow until it is the age of 16/17. You may not have experienced loss of a loved one before, but by empathising with people who have, you know how they may feel. Having a baby conceived through rape can be very emotionally distressing for the woman, and the child can act as a pemanent reminder of what happened to her. The child certainly wouldn't be planned in the case of rape, and the woman would have to form their life around it, and that often wouldn't work out well, and the mother and child would have to live with poor quality of life. All in all it would likely equate to two lives filled with hardships that could be avoided through abortion.

There is, however, a right to life, & that right should extend to the unborn. Having such strong opinions on things at your age is a clear sign of indoctrination. Abortion is to be avoided but there are clearly cases where it is justified. If you insist that a young girl who is totally unprepared for motherhood have a baby who will be ill-treated you are wasting an opportunity for a successful motherhood and a happy child later. When you'll have brought up a couple of children on one minimum wage I'll be glad to hear what you have to say about abortion.

The issue of terminating a pregnancy that is the result of rape has nothing to do with what that child will be like later on, or whether or not the mother would feel compelled to rid herself of that child following its birth. After the birth of the child, the option of adoption exists. The issue is the nine months before the birth in which the victim would be unable to escape the memory of her trauma for more than a few seconds. Would you really subject that poor girl to nine months of torture?

Pro-Lifers you should know that according to a statistic done in 1995 that over 40 Million abortions happened, 44% of those were ILLEGAL Abortions. This means that making abortion illegal doesn't stop it. So come up with another solution to get the number of abortions down, like Making schools teach more than abstinence, make contraceptives available and covered under every insurance plan, make pharmacies have a staff member available so that women can get their prescriptions filled.

@Nejihygo The best solution is to Prevent the Pregnancy that most Pro-Choice people are pushing for. By preventing, I don't mean telling the woman not to spread her legs willingly or forced. I mean making schools teach real sex ed or at least show Teen Mom 1/2 and 16&Pregnant and talk about contraceptives. They are going to have sex even if abstinence is taught, this is proven. Women who pay for insurance should have contraceptives without copays, to bring down the non-hard case abortions.
