Thus we can easily pay them back all the government has to do is borrow money from the FED to pay them off. This of course devalues their Treasury "assets." the IMF helped lower the value of the British Pound during the economic crisis, which has allowed (as has been done over the past few years) for American companies to buy many large British companies for a lower than should be value (including Boots and Cadburys).
In the future, it may be that the US actually runs a large portion of UK companies. This cannot be allowed to happen.

@SBBFL94 Sorry to disappoint you. China isn't going to rule anything anytime soon. The moment they try to call in the debt, they'd be shooting their own economy in the head. Once that happens, their government's control over the business class will collapse and the whole country will fragment.
On the U.S. side, the debt call in would result in huge inflation, and tax hikes. Painful but hardly lethal. Spain and the U.K. both have higher debt ratios than the U.S. and have much more to fear.

@SBBFL94 Unfortunately for China we don't owe them debt in their currency. The debt they hold is in our currency. Thus we can easily pay them back all the government has to do is borrow money from the FED to pay them off. This of course devalues their Treasury "assets." One countries begin to realize what is really happening I expect them to purchase large quantities of gold and silver which they have already begun to do.

@MrDashey8 Not necessarily true. Their consumer base is larger then that of the US/EU/Japan COMBINED. The trick is how to raise domestic consumption without colossal inflation. The land that gave birth to the military genius Sun Tzu has practically conquered the US without firing a shot. Debt and and a bottomless supply of willing cheap labor were their weapons. Thus they made and sold the rope with which the US shall hang itself when that debt comes due.

It's so easy to believe this. Great arguments, everything well explained. But the truth is that China is the biggest loan giver to USA. nad in five years they will have a bigger BNP. And its not the government that creates big inflation, its people that is so stupid to borrow much money and spend it. Basicly if u dont want any inflation, dont create new money and dont loan out money, and then the society would suck. Everyone lives a good life today in rich countries because of this!

This is so true China is the largest creditor to the U.S. but that argument really changes nothing other then the fact that instead of the federal reserve that controls us it is the Chinese government. I am not so sure really that the two are that different. I do not know the ramifications of this and I hope perhaps I am wrong. But I can tell you this it is still greed it is still unfair and it is still corrupt.

Hang on! What's being said here about globalisation and explotation of poorer countries is happening to us now. For instance, in the England, the motor & steel industry is owned by agressive foreign corporations including our power supply and airports (BAA). More recently, British Airways has merged with Iberia. We have been importing cheap labour from countrys, thus creating unemploment. I'm sure some people here can come up with some American, examples of the same thing.

That's the whole point!!!!! We've been preserving a system until now because it was imposed by the circumstances!! Now, that those circumstances have changed, we could think about developing a new social system. The system has never been better, but it could be in the future. That's the idea of the movie. I don't support it 100% but we have to understand it well before we make judgements.

this movie is about how in this day and age the system could be a whole lot better. It cites technology as one major way of improving our lives socially, envirnmentally, etc. This movie also makes the point that people have to pay off a debt as well as paying for food.

Sorry, I should have been clearer about who was a 9/11 Truther. The original Zeitgeist laid out a 9/11 Truther theory. More interesting to me than That the United States tried to have governments changed, which doesn't surprise me, is why? The 'why' tends to be a little more controversial. Some would say the United States acts primarily for moral reasons, others for primarily evil reasons. I'm neither an idealist nor a cynic. The truth is probably somewhere in between. When the facts and logic are on the side of the Truthers, it's the non-truthers who are weirdos for prioritizing the emotional comfort of their beliefs over the facts supporting the "Truth" theories. It's a shame how effectively propaganda and reaction to certain peoples behavior can paint a concept so that people dismiss it outright.
People shy away from the controversial because they are afraid of being judged. Dude, none of that conspiracy shit will ever help us. I mean as true as it may or may not be, people are not going to believe any of that. Make them understand how the system is disruptive and how it could be better and you'll never need to exploit the bloodlines or NWO's. They will just simply disappear without power.

I think my idea is a bit to hyperbolic, but it might work. I've always wanted to run for president, and I can easily persuade people. My generation, ( I'm 14) is mostly now democratic because of the False Barak Obama. I will get my money through my engineering idea, which is creating clean energy. I will then try to get in as a congressman or senator, as a Democrat, because I will be elected that way. Once I'm in, I keep going untill I have absolute power, than Revolutionize. If only it worked:{
