Tyson was one of the most respectful fighters every time he stepped in the ring, prior to his B.S. prison sentence. A total class act. As far as the Buster Douglas thing goes, maybe it was as Tyson says, he got cocky & stopped training I've always believed it was possibly a fixed fight, given the history of boxing. People like Don King, get these guys under contract & blackmail them into doing so. They go through the typical routine of losing their belts so they can win them back.

Tyson was a part of my childhood. I'll always be a Tyson fan. I remember watching every televised fight of his from Ferguson on. It was so exciting every time he stepped in the ring... not just for me, for everyone. It was like the Super Bowl x 10.

When people talk about who's the greatest fighter ever... hands down it was Tyson in his prime. People bring up people like Muhamad Ali. No one was afraid to fight Ali, but everyone in the ring feared Tyson. It's not even close.

@alwaysauthentic1 yeah he was also a part of my childhood too I remember the first boxing match I've ever seen 12 years ago when I was 4 years old was a replay of one of Mike Tyson's old fights on a sports channel that shows classic games/fights and Tyson was one of the very first boxers I've ever knew as a small child along with Ali,Jones Jr, Holyfield and De La Hoya.
