Actually, anyone interested in videos of landings will watch all of them by chance. By writing things such as "amazing", you're dragging yourself down to the level of a 12-yr-old kid with too much spare time. "Landing Fokker 50..." in small letters would seem much more professional.

Just had my first Fokker 50 flight two days ago and I absolutely loved it. Unfortunately on march 27 KLM will schedule there last ever F50 flight. That means that there are only jet engines left in the KLM fleet. Will miss this great Dutch build aircraft!

Yes, KLM still uses the Fokker 50. I took one in September between Amsterdam and Norwich. It's interesting how they stay in sight of the ground, which let me get some good video of the Norfolk coast. KLM plan to phase out the 50 within the next two years.

It will be done by the F100 and F70. At the time the E190 will replace the other Fokkers.

I know. Sad in a way. The jets fly higher and faster. Future travellers might not be able to get the kind of videos I took this year of the English coast. My return trip was on a 70 and I saw nothing. Of course, that was on one of those 'delays due to fog and drizzle' days at AMS. One other thought: The 50's have 50 seats - no squeezing! The 70's have 80 seats, typical airline sardine packing.

The Fokker 50 is still used by KLM and VLM etc so its not in a museum.

I only put Amazing so it would get more views and it WORKED.

It is runway 18C but the film was before the Polderbaan.

It was KLM UK it was when Air UK was transitioning to CityHopper.

The Fokker 50 is an exellent aircraft!!! -Very modern for its time (and still is). Im talking from the pilots point of view, and I fly Airbus today and thats a great aircraft as well!!!
