i got a problem, i bought the game today, but it has 3 disks, when i try to install the first one, it says couldnt find library or some shit, it also asks for macromedia flash, i am now downloading that, this game is freaky!

This game just missed the mark in becoming an incredible game. It's concept and idea is awesome and it definately needs a sequel. However the lack of control in movie direction didn't allow for it to become a machinima tool. A sequel would need to have a limitless amount of scene attention to detail. We should be able to build the sets as easy as The sims 3 build mode and don't restrict the actors/actress to basic animations.

hi, i bought this game a few days ago and i got it to day. i tried to install it on my computer, i have windows 7, but it dident work:/ what have i done wrong? dosent it work with windows 7 or do i need to install a program or something? please reply someone, i really wanna play this game and it cost me 50 kr (7,76 dollars) btw the gameset included 3 discs, but the manual only talks about disc 1 in the installation guide:/

@1usarobin i have the 3 disc gameset

the 3 discs are all for installation...

put in disc one and install, after installing so much the program should prompt you to install disc 2 and after a while, again, disc 3.

You should then be told to insert disc 1 to play the game...

@LiamSanford thanks, but the main problem is that when i put in disc 1 and starts the installation, a box about couldent find the libary or something shows up and after that a bunch of error codes boxes appears and i need to restart the computer to make it go away and yeah it also say something about that the program have a lot of known problems in it that i need to serach for a fix online but it cant find anything and it also say something about that i maybe need to install macromedia flash R?

This game is similar to the sims in some aspects, but if you are student of film. I would HIGHLY recommend this game. The game gives you so much control of all the different aspects of film making. Things like writing your own script, voicing your own dialogue and creating your own logo's and backdrops if you choose. The graphics are dated but enjoyable. This game is in my top5 games all time mainly because of my interest in film making.

@Feshman117 It's the trailer when they announced this game. But it was cancelled on Xbox and I think PS2. Only released for PC like the one you have, but the one you see in the trailer is from those home consoles.

Its a shame, that some of the facilities, sets and scenes in this trailer are not included on the game.

They really need to make a new expansion pack, so the game gets even better.

The expansion pack really should let you have even more control of what you create.

@densle1 yes, in the stuts and effects adds some miniature stuff, and enhance the speciall effects, add new scences, sets and all, but nothing on Stunts and effects adds what im talking about. My front cover of stunts and effects ( yeah buyed a box ) said that i had control of the effects, but not really, thats another disapointment. you can only set for example, fire, on and off in specific scenes, and that sucks really.

@LuiDeca I would thumbs up, but Lionhead completely gave up on this game. Not sure if you ever saw this anywhere but the servers for the games were shut down, and the site to upload and share your movies was closed down.

@densle1 as i know they closed the site because 2 milion users were there, so became complicated.

In my opinion, the movies made a lot of success but lionhead dint payed attention to that, and was working on Fable, closed the site because were lazy. Fable has the double of users (4 milion) and its site dint closed yet, i think lionhead was lazy in relation to The movies, and throw it away, what a sad end.

All of games have content that is removed prior to the release, The Science Lab and Warehouse were probably removed as they were pointless, The Sicence Lab might've been removed due to complicatons, bugs, or simply lack of good ideas, while the Warehouse has no actual good idea or ability?

Looks too corny, the characters seem emotionless. From the "movies" I've seen people make with this game it also seems like you don't have much control. There needs to be a game that mixes 3D Movie Maker elements with those of The Movies.

the expanion pack won't work unless you have the original version of the game. It adds new stunts, and a few extra scenes. There's tons of new costumes too. I recommend getting it.
