Was using old gravel tires. They would only last about 30 miles and would be thru to the cords! The surface was like course sandpaper and the tires would be spinning in every gear. Great fun.

what kind of tyres do you use for a surface like that? Not slicks or gravel tyres I take it, snow tyres?
