  • hi there!!! do you know what's the difference between the 'foxy curls' and 'curls rock' products??? love your hair!

  • Naturally curly hair goes only with professional hair products! I have the worst kind. Frizzy & only till the shoulders (short growth cycle). So it never gets long & heavy enough to look good. It is uncontrollable if I comb it without products. It looks like cotton and flies around... And it is so dry, that if I comb it without a product the hairs break! Eugene Perma and Framesi kinda work for me, so I am really excited to look for the products u recommended. I hope I can find them in Austria.

  • you have some serious nails girl!

    =]

i have beach waves for natural hair,

so I'll see if these products would work for my hair too. =]

way to rock it the natural way.

  • I use this bedhead the purple line. Smells amazing and first time in my life, my curly hair is soft and gorgeous.

  • Is it the same that I show here? I LOVE the FoxyCurls and it really does make a huge difference. When it comes to curly hair once you find something that works stick with it! :)

  • This was great! I'm so glad there is something out there for curly hair that works. I've tried everything!! Your hair is very pretty.

  • Thank you! Definitely try different things and in different combination. What works for me might not work for you but its worth a shot. Because I have such thick hair I can get away with using a lot of product and not worrying about weighing it down. I know that lotions work great for my sister but not for me so definitely experiment till you find what works for your hair.

  • i need help for my hair i have midlength hair that is curly poufy and frizzy

I use curls rock shampoo and conditioner on my hair i condition ever day but shampoo every other day

    i don't brush?comb my hair

just use a comb to distribut conditioner

and use any mousee or gel i have .

    ANY HELP

  • I only shampoo about 3 times a week but I do rinse my hair every morning in the shower. I brush my hair twice a day, once in the morning before I get in the shower and at night before bed. You have to brush curly hair to help distribute the oils and stimulate the scalp just don't brush it during the day after its been styled. Leave in conditioners are key to help control frizz which is why I use 2. I also almost never use heat on my hair I just air dry.

  • I LOVE THIS VIDEO AND YOUR HAIR

i have poufy midlenghth curly hair

i use TIGI catwalk curls rock shampoo and conditioner

and and gel or mousee to style

but my curls either get frizzy lose shape or i get hard curls

    any help?

  • Thank you! :) I have found that crunchy curls are a result of having your hair too wet when applying product. I comb through each product and once I'm done I use my hands to scrunch my hair and then after about 20-30 minutes I give my hair a good shake to fluff it up and break up any potential crunchies.

  • OMG u have really long nails haha. i like ur hair :)

  • OMG!!!!! You are so beautyfull...so sexy!!!!

I love your nails...merry me please!!!

xoxoxox from your new number one brazilian fan!!!!

  • cut your nails. not attractive.

  • Go fuck yourself!

  • Oh and who the fuck do you think you are to try and tell someone what to do? Learn some manners you idiot I don't give a fuck if your ass finds my nails attractive or not!

  • nice job trying to get people to watch your crapy vids learn some class!!!

  • How about fuck you! How's that. Grow you you little fuck and learn some manners! Where are you videos huh? I see you have a video that does not belong to you and some pictures of you and your friends screwing around. What are you like 10?

  • My Hair Is Similar To Yours, But Its Like, SUPER FRIZZ. And No Matter What I Use, Its So Mad.

I Straighten It EVERYDAY. So Its Broken And Really Dry. My Hair Is Shorter Than Yours But I Still Wanna Wear It Naturally. Any Tips???

  • You need to DEEP condition it and use a leave in conditioner daily. I deep condition about twice a month and I use 2 leave in conditioners daily (the Pravana spray and the Bumble & Bumble). Are you using a heat protectant when you straighten your hair? I flat iron my hair MAYBE 6 times a year if that and I use a blow dryer with a diffuser maybe 7 times a year otheiwise I always let it air dry so that helps.

  • i have your same exact hair type you have and it can be very difficult. if i put the wrong combination of products it will look yucky. thanx for the tip on not conditioning the roots. i'm sorta broke these days so what are must have products for our hair type? if you had to choose 3-4 things. and where can i find them? i use euphora shampoo and conditioner. expensive but really good. my ends are softer.

  • Unfortunately from my experience being broke doesn't agree with our hair type :(. I have yet to find drugstore items that work for me. Check out some online discount places and stock up if you can. For me and what I use my MUST haves are the Joico Gel, & the B&B leave in and teh Foxy Curls mousse. The Pravana and Aquage are definitely needed but I have gone w/o for a couple days before. A good leave in and gel are your 1st and last basics if that makes sense.

  • Read my blog (link in side bar) and I give more info on each product and the order. You also always want to be sure your ends are moisturized but never dripping wet. I'm still "on a break" but promise to be back soon and will start with hair care since I keep getting so many questions and requests.

  • She gives really good products but if money is tighter try DevaCurl products. They are great and shampoo and conditioner is like 20 dollars together (not each). That might still be kind of expensive... but the reality is, like she said, curly hair just isnt inexpensive.

  • Deva Curl is great although unfortunately it did not work for me :(. Having curly hair is expensive and requires a lot of trial and error. I can't even tell you how many different brands I have tried or how many different cocktails I've combined. So far what I show here really is the only thing working for me at the moment and that mousse and gel are KEY for me at least. My sister can get away with less sometimes but my hair is just really course which adds another element to the mix

  • I only use the Bed Head Mousse but I never use hairspray so I would say try their gel. Hairspray does not work on my hair unless its straightened and in an updo. Check my blog for more info and when I get back to making videos I have more hair care ones on my list.

    Thanks for the compliment! :)

  • I want to get Foxy Curl mousse because my hair is in too bad condition to get a perm but I dont want the chavvy scrunch mousse look...

  • I don't have a perm nor does my hair get crunchy. I've noticed that if hair is too wet when product is applied and too much product is applied that's when it gets crunchy. Is your hair naturally straight?

  • Creepy creepy nails!

  • Stupid, stupid comment!

  • I'm big on smells too! Your hair is AMAZINGLY GORGEOUS! Keep it up! =D

  • Thank you! :)

  • ue a cool looking chick

  • Okay, really......I mean I love the tutorial, but you had me with the intro song!!! Bless your heart for using that song because it completely reminds me of my family and good times.....You've got a loyal subscriber now!!

  • Awe thanks! That is definitely one of my favorite songs :)

  • hi im still in high school and most of the time i like to wear my hair straight, but on those days where im just to busy or tired to straighten it, i was wondering if you could give me some ideas as to what to do with my curly hair. it is very similar to yours except i dont like to keep mine in my face as much. Basically, Im just looking for different flirty looks for my curls, up or down is fine. Thanks and the products you recommended have really helped my hair a lot.

  • Thanks for the comment! Honestly if you watch a few of my videos you will see that my hair is almost always the same because I don't know what to do with it LOL. If you search on my main page for "Bumpits" you can see how I use that with a headband and also some older random vids I have my hair back in twists. It's a super easy look that works great for curly hair so I'll do a tut for you. :)

  • I don't want to say I have the exact hair as yours but it's pretty close. THANK YOU!! I've always looked for other ppl with my same type or close to and I came across your blog. I'll def. subsribe and check out your blog. Also, I use TIGI's Catwalk Curls Rock, idk if it's the same as Foxy Curls but I'll def. check out a few of the other products you have mentioned. Thanks again ;o)

  • Glad I could help! I've never tried the Catwalk Curls but I'm gonna check it out next time I run to the beauty supply to restock. Hope you like my blog too :)

  • thank you so much that helped sooooo much and i did find a shampoo and conditioner but its so expencive its called redken cool curls it works but expencive

  • I've used the Redken Fresh Curls before. Not my favorite but it is good. I believe TiGi is a little cheaper. Try discountbeautycenter

  • wow your nails are really long!! hahah

  • wow you're really observant! hahah

  • haha my hair is exactly like yours!!

Its so hard to find somebody with the same hair type lol its big and loose curly like but thick ha

im totally going out to buy the bed head products thanks :D

  • I love the Bed Head products and they smell so yummy! Don't use too much mousse though because it can make your curls crunchy, play around tll you figure out the right consistency for you.

  • Just wondering...where can you buy aquage from?!?!? And also the shampoo + conditioner that you mentioned...can you still use that if you want to straighten your hair after if you have naturally curly hair?!??!

  • Try discountbeautycenter they have it for $24. YT doesn't allow urls in the comments so I will PM you the actual link. You can use the shampoo & conditioner if you straighten your hair, my sister does it all the time and its fine.

  • love your hair, but your nails scare me ....i still love your video =)

  • will this be good for really curly hair? coz in this vid ure hair looks wavy.

  • I honestly couldn't tell you. My hair is curly but not super curly, its a 2C/3A and more than wavy. My little sister has super curly hair and the FoxyCurls mousse works for her but she uses other stuff for frizz. Check my blog for the review on Curl Gel-les'c it has links explaining hair type and some sites you can check out for your hair type.

  • I have very very thick and long hair. It is also very curly, but the curls are not defined when my hair is dry. Friziness is also a problem as well as volume. I would love to wear my hair down naturally, but it is just so much hair and so big. I usually just clip half of it back, but I was wondering if you had any suggestions on how to mantain and take care of my hair. Also have you tried bumble and bumble products?

  • YT isn't letting me reply, I'll PM you

  • I am definitely going to pick up that shampoo and conditioner.

i've seen the Joico line around and always wondered if it was any good..

Where do they sell that aquage stuff? That's a shine serum, right?

  • I love the TiGi Bedhead Foxy Curls! The serum is for frizz and shine. I get everything at a pro beauty store because of my sisters but you can check my blog for links to each product and see if they list local carriers or call some local salons. The serum is like $13 at the pro store so I'm guessing double that at a salon. I'm going again soon, PM me if you want me to get you some and you can send me the money,

  • wow your hair is amazing :)

  • Thank you! :)

  • i love your videos =) i have a question. im only 13 and my hair is REALLY thick, dry, coarse and frizzy. your hair is 10 times better than me. Do you think that your hair care routine could work for me? I tried EVERYTHING and wasted soooo much money and time for nothing. I even tried shampoos and stuff that claims to make your hair straighter for a whole day I think its the john freda crap. also, when i use gel, it gets sooooo big and poofy! I thought your supposed to use gel on curly hair? help!

  • Do you color your hair or use heat at all? I do color my hair but since I do it darker it is less damaging & I use heat maybe 10x a year max. That aside if you hair is possibly similar to mine then I think what I use will work, or at least its worth a try. All of the products are very good, and I do not use a ton of either. I am working on editing my step by step application which may also help you see how I apply then which makes a HUGE difference.

  • I use heat (straightner) in the winter once a week, i know its a lot of heat :/ and i dont dye my hair at all. and thank you for your videos theyr very helpful =)

  • I can also do a couple vids showing how I get my curl to stay w/o heat. Of course my hair looks different every day but it might work for you.

  • I seriously wish my curls were as pretty as yours, or anyone elses.

I don't know why, but since i live in the rainiest place in the continental u.s., the moisture makes my hair look like a poodle.

I usually stick to hats and hoodies.

ANYWAY, enough of my pathetic hair, i love your videos!

    I learn so much!!

    <3

  • Can you get Joico in your area? They make a great anti humectant spray that works for me although my weather is different. Not sure if I show it in this vid but I definitely list it in my blog.

  • i agree...from what i heard, cheaper products contain silicones & other harsh chemicals that over time, weigh the hair down & makes curls look like crispy crap. Only the best touches my head, Recession or not...lol

  • I've never heard that specifically about cheaper products but I really do feel that you get what you pay for with hair products. What do do you like to use in your hair?

  • right now i'm using a deep moisturizing conditioner from aveda. ive always washed my hair with baby shampoo because it's so gentle & i use morracan oil is my leave in.

  • if I use drugstore products, my hair looks like crap it gets frizzy.... your'e right..what you get is what you pay for!

btw. i lovee your nails ! beautifull colour(L)

  • I know a lot of people disagree but if you try it all then you know right? The one drugstore product that I loved and miss because I can't find it anymore is the Aussie buildup remover, that was great but oh well.

The polish I'm wearing is called Mono Blue by Brucci which is a drugstore brand. A friend got it for me in either Brooklyn or Manhattan its' like $2.

  • i have dry, curly hair. Its now a bit course, but my hair falls out sooo much! what would you recommend. I am going to try TIGI, hope it helps me.

  • From my experience too much hair falling out can be a cause of poor diet/vitamin deficiency or illness/medication.

As for dry hair I suggest doing a deep conditioner weekly like the Redken one I mention in the video, also brushing your hair at least twice a day if it's curly, more if it's straight.

They say losing 100 strands a day is "normal."

  • you know how you said that we have natural oils you really shoouldnt say that!

because people with dry hair like me even if i condition the roots my hair will still be dry!

  • Everyone has natural oils, but you do need to do different things to stimulate them and distribute them if your hair is dry. Long and curly hair usually get dry because the naturals can't get to the rest of the hair the way it can with straight hair.

  • I write the date on everything, food too, especially stuff I buy in bulk.

The firm gel is the best! Yes the rosemary oil on the scalp works. Weleda makes the one I've always used. Massage it into your scalp a few nights a week then brush it through with a boar bristle brush and then shampoo out in the AM. I stimulates the root and makes your hair grow faster.

  • youre very pretty, and please, please dont take offense, but your nails are a bit much. sorry, just my opinion. other than that, like i said, you are very pretty. very exotic, gypsy looking.

  • Thanks, I guess. I like my nails and so does my husband and that's really all that matters. If they are "too much" then please don't watch my videos since you will see them in ALL my videos because they are real.

Also, just an FYI, if you have to preface something with "please don't take offense, but..." then realize that anything you say after that is going to be offensive. The precursor doesn't take away the rudeness! Would you have said that to me in person? Probably not, so why type it?

  • woooow calm down i think she really meant NO offense i was thinking the same thing ooooo she is soooo pretty but when you pulled out those nails it was like BAMB ...i think you ril look more delicate with slightly smaller nails......

    woooooow they are real!!!!!!!!!!

dont they like break and isnt it hard to take a shower!

  • In MY OPINION It was a rude comment. Its like telling a fat person the have a pretty face but... The nails are real and I like them the way they are otherwise I wouldn't have them as long as they are. I don't care about looking "delicate." IMO long nails are feminine. I have a whole nail care video that goes into detail about them.

I appreciate the compliment portion of the comment.

  • Did i miss the second part of this video? Or maybe I'm just waiting too anxiously. lol I need help controlling my mane and since you're awesome I decided to try your advice. :) On the hunt for skittles scented products.

  • No you haven't missed anything, I just lag! I ran out of product again and am hoping to get it this weekend. I can only do the step by step on the weekends cuz I need a lot of time to explain what I'm doing and I haven't had the extra time for getting ready :(. Hopefully this weekend though, if not it will be VERY soon! :)

"Skittles" products are the best! :)

  • Whats this song

    please someone answer me

  • Cumbia de los Muertos

  • your hair is fucking amazing!

  • Thank you! :)

  • OMFG!!! Ozomatli in the house!!!! :D

  • Your hair is GORGEOUS. Is it naturally that curly? The music at the beginning is really good too. What is your nationality?

  • Thanks :)! Yes this is my natural curl, I don't use heat on my hair so this is how it naturally air dries.

  • Comment removed

  • do you put the same on culier hair?

haha I hate my hair itzooo curly uugh haha

    i liike urz

  • I'm not sure what you mean. I don't use anything to curl my hair, these are the products I use to keep it from frizzing.

  • Are you from El Salvador or Columbia.

You look like it and since you have Cumbia music in the begining, I guessed you were.

  • Born and raised in the US but my ancestors are from El Salvador and Spain

  • OH!^_^ That's pretty kewl!^_^

  • hmm thanks i think i'll try bed head

my hair really needs it, it's really really really curly and frizzy

    thanks!!

  • No problem, I hope it works for you too!

  • Do you think the shampoo would work on hair that isn't curly? I have frizzy, loose, waves and need a shampoo for the frizz. Would you recommend this?

  • I think so. My hair isn't super curly either, its more of a looser curl. See if you can find it in a sample /travel size to try it out, and definitely with the conditioner,

  • I love the new Loreal sulfate free shampoo and conditioner... love your nails! :)

  • writting the dates on products....VERY good idea lol i go thru so much product i neva thought of doin it...thanx!

  • I do it on EVERYTHING except makeup. Especially stuff I buy from Costco. I like to see how long it lasts and if I can make something last longer. It makes you realize when you are using too much of something if it lasted longer in the past. In my head it helps me save money ;)

  • ur nails r soo long!!! there like witchy (: but they r supa cool <3

  • Thanks. WItchy is cool, I do paint them black in the Fall ;)

I have an 'Acrylic Nail Care' video if you are interested.

  • i think i will watch that...wait r they fake er real? and i like wearing the fake nails that r long but not as long as urs..but they r soo much fun <3

  • Depends on how you look at it. I say they are real because its my natural nail length underneath with an acrylic overlay. Some say that is still fake. They aren't tips though and my natural nails dictate the overall length. They are totally just part of me, like my hair. They are fun though.

  • Love me some Ozomatli! I have curly hair and most of the DS products leave me with build up. I am using PureOlogy right now and it works great.

  • Aren't they great! PureOlogy is awesome but so expensive even with a pro discount. I have some that I use for travel. DS products do leave a lot of buildup.

  • Skittles! I am trying that for sure. Thanks for the routine. I hate trying out stuff before I have seen it on anyone else. My roommate had hair like yours (greek) so yeah..A lot of product needed to tame that mane of hers was needed! You are not alone. ☺

  • I could be Greek LOL. Yes a lot of stuff to tame the mane, its crazy but needed. The "skittles" products are so great. They smell yummy and truly work.

  • Could you wrap a bunch of pelos into a lotus flower and send it to me via priority mail? thanks.

  • Yes and I will have it delivered espeshal by a demon :p

  • Hey could you post a video of you getting shampooed at the salon? Hairdressers would like to see how you'd best deal with amazing hair like yours. And you'd be the best person to show them.

    Great video - fabulous hair.

  • Unfortunately that is not possible but I can tell you from years of getting my hair done at hte salon that thy wash it just like they do for anyone else, I just need a little more water, shampoo & conditioner and ideally a larger towel which is never available si I get 2 regular ones. My sisters are professional hair dressers so I get my hair done at home now on their days off, no more salons for me.

  • i would also luv it if you were you were to use the ojon hair products to do a review on since you like to use specifin hair products. my hair is dry but i wanna know if if works good. pleas let me know.

  • Sorry but I'm actually really happy with my hair routine and don't plan to try anything new. I also only use items that I can get at the pro beauty supply. Sorry.

  • ok =)

  • i luv that song you used as your intro.

  • Thanks!

  • this helped me alot thanks!

  • Glad it was helpful! :)

  • What's the name of the song in the intro? Great cumbia!

  • Cumbia de los muertos

  • I just tried Deva Curl just the other day. I have fine wavy kinky hair and can never leave it curly because it looks horrible. The Deva Curl made my hair curly and can finally leave it without blowing it straight. I want to try what use and wonder if it will make my kinky hair curly like deva curl?? You have beautiful curls and thats what I want.

  • I think Deva Curl works for thinner hair. One of my sisters has thinner hair and its super curly and the Deva curl works for her. Just experiment with the amounts, if your hair is think you may not want to use all the products I use, you might be able to get away with the spray leave in, the mousse and the serum. If you try the gel get the med hold since the firm might weigh down your hair.

  • love the intro and outro music :)

great vid. i am going to go check out the skittles for sure. :D

  • It will work awesome on your hair! You have har very similar to my little sister and she is the one who got me hooked on "skittles."

  • I am so going to get the skittles line. All of it I love B&B stuff too. I just haven't bought it in a long time. Have you ever used any Biolage? I used to use that constantly.

  • Am I in a catch 22? I want volume, but I usually condition a little on the roots because I feel like it helps my dry scalp. I've never tried the skittles collection, but now I want to try it. :) I do know what you mean about the drug store stuff. I haven't started using salon stuff until last year, and it made a huge diff! I use the Redken smooth down to fight the frizzies, don't know what it is, but it's great! It's prob the macadamian oil.

  • Conditioning your roots will not help your scalp. I'll let you know what my Derm told me yesterday. But conditioning is only making your your hair limp cuz it weighs down the roots.

  • OK, let me know if your derm gave any suggestions. With that I'm going to take a shower & not put any conditioner on my roots now. I will not be "stale" for our shopaholics meeting today :)

  • Oh NO not stale hair! LOL. Its okay to have stale hair if its been straightened and needs to be kept that way for a few days. You know me and rules with sub rules LOL.

  • Thank you for this. Its a lot of help. I'm going to try the foxy curls range it looks really good. Your hair looks lovely and so thick. I have to stop conditioning my roots as i now know thats why its a little flat on top lol, thanks for letting me know. Btw sometimes i use olive oil on my hair and leave it for a good few hours and it works a treat. Cant wait for next 2 parts.xx

  • I LOVE the Foxy Curls, I've tried A TON of lines and am always trying new ones but so far Foxy Curls is the best for curly hair. And it smells so good which I never find in a product that actually works for me. :) Let me know how it works for you.

  • I do that as well with the olive oil. I love using it!

  • Yea its great isn't it. It makes a huge difference :)

  • This was incredibly helpful... I have naturally curly hair but have been flat ironing it for 17 years. I just recently boxed up my flat iron and decided not to fight it any more. Thanks for all the tips!!

  • Wow17 years? That's a commitment. I flat iron my hair maybe 3-4x a year if at all and I might use a diffuser like 5 times but only if the weather outside is really cold and wet which is rare where I live. Glad you found this helpful! :)
