Does anyone have the tabs for this song? I am in dire need of tabs because I've yet to learn to read sheet music. If you help me out I will be in your debt! This is a matter of life and love :/
Very good, but at times you play it a certain way when showing each hand separate and then a different way when showing both hands together, very confusing! Still extremely helpful though, cheers! :)
a song I've wanted to play for years! And I don't play piano! But now I have one and am going to make this my first song - thanks for makling this possible!
such a spellbinding song. it takes one by the hand toward the edge of the abyss. i get confused what with all the white notes so similar. its F, Amin and C all collecting into a snowbank of white...
This is very helpful. Angles fine its easy to see what keys you are pressing. Some people must have bad map reading skills if they cant understand this. Autodesk for life. Its nice to know that someone else is into music and engineering stuff. who says you cant do both?
One thing tho. When u do the parts separately then together u actually do them differently. The second part especially. The right hand when done separately in comparison to with the left hand is very different. I know it's a lot to ask but could u maybe redo the song? It makes it very hard to pick up which chords go together since they played differently. Maybe someone else can explain why this is?
Anyway loving it so far I just don't play piano at all so yea learning
How fucking dare anyone criticise this guy in such an arrogant fashion? He made the effort to make this tutorial for you. If you'd made a better tutorial, you wouldn't be here, so either appreciate it or take your selfish remarks somewhere else.
This is too complicated. it's not slowed down enough and it would help if you did it from part to part step by step. :( and the angle of the camera really gave me a headache
Thanks so much for making this. I love this song. I actually heard about it from one of my favorite books, "The Perks of Being a Wallflower." Great book, great song. I was just wondering if you had any tips on how to get both your hands working together. I play percussion in my school band, so I play bells. But we can't play chords, and I'm having trouble making my left hand work with my right hand. Any advice? Thanks again.
You're timing is sometimes off, and I can't tell if you're making mistakes or not. and you play too fast for a fucking tutorial video i'm getting frustrated watching it over and over
I did not make this video in the purpose of people copying the exact playing of mine.
I made it so people could get an idea of approximatley how to play it, just see the foundations of this song. And then if you are creative enough, you should be able to figure out the rest by feeling and hearing. Make an own interpretation and version of the song, adding your own touch.
mate this video is really good and I've been waiting for a tutorial to this for literally almost a year but you need to add the notes to this. Its people who aren't very good with conventional learning methods who use these videos (I got the proper music for this ages ago) and we need the notes written down and also what goes with what as I'm having to watch this over and over to write down each individual note. The video is great but the lesson would be much easier with the notes. Cheers mate.
@autodeskgeek ok fair enough mate, it is a really good video I wasn't trying to knock it, I got the proper music ages ago and was finding it impossible to get the rhythmn but this shows it ok, I have the notes written from the first part but I'm not sure I'm getting them together right. The right hand is e a c d e b b d e a c a and the left is f c g d f c f d. I have it (right notes to left) 2 then 3 then 2 then 2 then1 and the end is separate. Do you know if that is right?

How excrutiatingly helpful. Thanks to you, someone like me who hasn't a clue about the piano, can now play this through with ease.

I'm really glad you find it helpful my friend!
I dont really have any tip on how to make your hands work together,
but with some hard training you will certainly get better over time.
The key is to not give up!
good luck!

'zhumatthew' why be such a dick about it? if you can't follow it, nor interpret some yourself you probably shouldn't be playing the piano.
it's a great tutorial, thank you autodeskgeek.

Hi and thanks!
Well, let me put it this way.. I dont know the name of the chords or notes.
I have completely learned myself all I know about music, and therefore I know almost none theoretic stuff, what things are called and such.
I'm really sorry, but I cant help you right now.
I need to develop my skills of the more theoretic persuasion first :)
Hugs! //Ludde
