  • LOL! Loved it!

  • I always wanted to see Don punch his lights out. lol

  • Take this mincing, boy-hungry pedophile with you.

  • I don't relish the prospect of staying here alone

with this terrible creature, dead or alive lol ... 0:22

  • for some reason, i find this absolutely hilarious!!!

  • Kevin Nash at 0:05?

  • dr smith is like dunkerry beacon.,a well known cad and all round bad fellow.

  • Ha Ha. Great.

  • EPIC! I grew up with this and still love it!

  • Dr. Smith was freaking awesome a character by Jonathan H.

I lost my father when I was young and He, the Robot and Will

became something like my dad and friends.. LOVE Lost In Space

Have them on tapes for my kids. Dina

  • OMG....what a compleeetly GAY creaaature!!

  • Now this guy had to be completely GAY!

  • he is a creature-ist...

  • i loved this lost in space but i thought dr smith was hilarious was it sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me its great to find it on youtube magic!junysaerus

  • Like most of those kind of shows they have close it without any questions awnsered! what the robinsons become after that last adventure they had in the junkyard in space? Still i must admit i love doctor smith when he called the robot a nini-neny or what actualy mean by that.

  • Man what an A-hole he was. I loved hating him XD

  • Dr. Smith molested me when I was 10. I molested him when I was 20! Hhahahahaha

  • I love it when he says Creature!

  • He had to be from New England.

  • @MrJohnnyrace I'm from New England and he sounds nothing like me.

    Actually, he was from Brooklyn.

  • @Sahbomnim The Massachussets Hamptons area.

  • @MrJohnnyrace Hahahaha!!

  • funny!

  • That guy was a legend!!!! R.I.P. Jonathan.

  • I loved watching L.I.S. when I was growing up in the 1960's. About Dr. Smith, the character you loved to hate, they save him time and time again when they know he tried to sabotage the flight and kill them all (before he got trapped on the ship). He always wanted to get back to Earth, but didn't he realize after the other crew members told about what he did, he would have been arrested for treason! LOL

  • jerico6411-

It's a straight female- attracted to Gay Men......now you know---

They are the best friends a gal have!

  • I commend Jonathan Harris for making me a "fag hag" at the age of 10.....remarkable!

  • @piranalu

I'm almost afraid to ask, but what is that exactly?

  • Someone get this man a thesaurus.

  • This is a perfect depiction of the men's rights movement in Alberta including the flase domestic violence victims #Edmonton Police Services domestic violence teams and legal advisers of Edmonton Community Services on male abuse and the Family Services association psychologists speaking of the women victims of domestic violence they are pretending to be the victims of instead of admitting their own criminal actions or child abuse.

  • @AnneFox7 This is nuckin futs!.....MEN just pay your child support for crissake! Leave the woman alone! Take anger management classes...........but what does this have to do with Dr. Smith ?

  • @piranalu A mock up of the use of bigotry, racism and gender bias in Alberta. The Workman's Compensation Board is combined with the Freedom of Information Access for the Children's services. Male abuse programs subscribe to the "creature" creating trouble with and their delicate backs and constitutions enduring such pain. Philosophy by Edmonton Community Services as DOMESTIC VIOLENCE child witness attacks =emotional abuse of men. Men have their children apprehended to discredit them & ex-wives..

  • @AnneFox7 It is an abuse of men by the bra-burning feminist militia who don't allow them to watch Lost in Space clips of Youtube. Men DEMAND rights to watch Lost in Space, any time any place. Men DEMAND the right to spend money building a B9 robot to replace their wife with something more intelligent.

  • @creativeengineer ALRIGHT!!! I'll have to rest my case. Don't want to be a fachist...

  • I'll check your "creatures"

and raise you 10x "oh the pain...THE PAIN"(s)!

  • Thanks this was very funny, I never noticed how other Dr. Smith said "creature".

  • CREATURE! I will now make it my word and drop it into every other sentence. Or until somebody smacks me.

  • A bit bored, were we, TIMMF65?

  • the word creature has now lost all meaning o.o lol

  • terrible creature!

  • I liked the bit where he talked about creatures

  • Guess creature was one of his favorite words, couldn't say woman, alien, child, man, pirate, beast, animal, plant or monster had to say creature.

  • He reminds me of someone... ROFLMAO!

  • One of the greats. Who could not love Zachary Smith!

  • Lost in Space was prime time in Australia for 20 years....

''For it is written...Smith......you are nothing but a Smith'' (my favorite line )

  • @SPOOKSTR That is astounding since there were only 82 episodes.

  • LOL. he's gotta be the first gay man on national television.

  • He was the best, and so was the show. Nothing like it before or since.

  • I love Dr. Smith!

  • The more you hear the word creature, the weirder the word sounds. Surreal

  • He did like to say creature!

  • people forget how wonderful the first year in black and white was, so strangley realistic zt least in dealing with the uinknown

  • what a brilliant actor jonathan was, reminds me a lot of some of the great British classical actors .

  • has someone created a Dr. Smith soundboard for crank calls?

  • I love the Dr Smith character.....great memories of my TV addicted childhood.......

    Thank you Jonathon -RIP

  • LOLOLOLOL!!!!!!

  • Lost in Space indeed was a weekly 'Creature feature'

  • DR SMMMMMIIIIIITH! LOL!

  • Oh God. I love you, Dr. Smith.

  • I feel like Dr. Smith is what Bea Arthur would have looked like if she were to complete her change.

  • i watch the series, everyday in my country, Guatemala,,,,,,,,still loving them,,,,,,i am 49 now

  • The guy who played Dr. Smith was one very fine actor. Dr. Smith was such a wormy pipsqueak and spineless puke. The man that brought all of these undesirable characteristics out did a great job.

  • this one was fun to loop! : "two slimy bubble-like creatures were destroyed well..."

  • Comment removed

  • Would you kindly tell this creature to stop nibbling at me.

  • i want to f... a female creature

  • Dr. Smith had that rare quality of being a like-able douche-bag.... his lines and inept douce-bag personality carried the show.... good childhood memories....sadly with the arrested-development of American culture today, most people would associate Dr. Smith with having some pedophile vibe w/ Will Robinson...

  • @Philburpalooza : BRILLIANT COMMENT ON DR SMITH & WILL ROBINSON!

  • @Standardfrank Thanks...I miss that show...

  • @Philburpalooza : Your Most Welcome...Your Summation Was Superbly Awesome & Very Much Appreciated For Why ~i-Missed The Show Also. Thanks.

  • @Philburpalooza Yes it was almost an unstated given on the show that

Dr. Smith spent most of his time with Will, who like most boys take up

with the most unlikely of characters, because he was a bit "odd".

But the show would have been completely FLAT without Harris' whining

to Will and browbeating of the robot.

Harris had to have made his career on Broadway first because he was

totally unsuited for any other TV show except Lost In Space.

  • Dr. Smith had that rare quality of being a like-able douche-bag.... his lines and inept douce-bag personality carried the show.... good childhood memories....

  • @Philburpalooza Hahaha...yep.

  • Is it just me or does Kelsey Grammary sound A LOT like Dr. Smith?

  • I grew up thinking Harris was a British actor with that Shakespearean voice, but I just looked him up in Wikipedia and discovered after 45 or more years, he was American. Wow! Much as I hated the campiness of the Dr. Smith character when I was a kid (I took my science fiction seriously) I now realize what a great actor Harris was. Now i want to relive all those shows.

  • I counted 44 "creatures" from Zach boy!

  • Teal'c says "Indeed".

  • Love this Creature complilation. Great actor and character still love on.

  • lololol oh i have to find the series now. :) tks Vin x

  • Dr. Smith is so weird.

  • Hey, Tom Waits was in "Lost In Space!" 0:06

  • He is possibly my favorite TV character of all time. Top 3, at the very least.

  • Never fear, Smith is here!

  • I wish a creature would come and bang the gobbledy gook out of me so as I would forget about my X girlfriend once and for all and forever...

  • Wait a minute! I just realized it! Mr. Smith was GAY! He was a frikin pioneer for gay people! I mean WOW Lost In Space was truly innovative!

  • I bet he said this word in his role in A Bug's Life."

  • Bueno seria poder ver de nuevo la serie completa

  • USE A THESAURUS!!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you for posting this. This was immensely funny! I had forgotten what a belly laugh feels like.

  • My favorite part is when he says ''I shall quell this creature with my cold and unbearing stare.''

  • Oh thank you, this is awesome! I grew up watching this everyday, there will never be another show like it!

  • Would have been great to see Dr. Smith and Capt. Kirk together.

  • The 3 dislikes were from people who have been called creature too many times.

  • @DonnieDaniels ....your so right my friend....they must of been creatures also...

  • First let me say...you are a master!!!..I love Dr Smith. saw him at the sci fi convention in New Jersey. I got a photo of him with me. was very depressed for weeks when he died. He was the whole show and will too.Star Wars copied the relationship of Dr smith and the Robot with R2D2 and C3P0. Lost in Space was and still is the best. You did a first class job with video. God Bless the Dr Smith fans.

    Anthony

  • This is a scream! 45 years and I never realized how may times he said "creature" in the series!

  • "That Vindictive Creature!"Just Amazing Voice.Fucking Legend!R.I.P

  • I think Johnathan Harris invented that word

  • 3 creatures dislike this. One dreadful, one terrible, and the other loathsome.

  • HahahahahahahaAAAAAAAHHHHHHHhahahahahahahahhaaa!!!!!!!

  • Sting or Harvey Keitel always remind me of Dr Smith.

  • Smith was obviously a pedophile

  • @MerkinMuffly Not neccesarily. He protected Will against those dratted creatures.

  • Danger Will Robinson!

  • ridiculo siempre

  • Miss you Dear Jonathon.

  • I wonder what would would be used today, instead of creature?

  • That creature was a boy hungry pedophile.

  • Boy Dr Smith says creature alot!!!

  • Animals are innocent. Calling something a creature could suggest it's neither human nor animal.

  • Lol mincing boy hungry pedophile.

  • Who's the actor at 0:53? I know I recognize him as an older man now, but I can't figure it out.

  • @SeeburgMusic Gary Tigerman

  • 'this creature apeared and his attitude was desidely hostile'

  • Dr. Smith is and was the ships stupidest trouble maker on the show.

  • in those days they always made the gay characters evil and selfish.

  • @swampzoid as opposed to today, when they always make them vapid, shallow, ineffectual,... and selfish.

  • This is pure gold!!

the 3 who dislike this must be exterminated! :)

  • oh, no...doctor smith just turned the destination dial for the ship to land on Planet Pedophile...

  • he has a wonderful speaking voice...a really expressive vocal instrument...so many varied nuances and timbres.. could anyone do that today? he was adorable x

  • We'll leave this belligerant creature to his own devices ...

  • where is dr, smith now que was my favorite what was his real name

  • Anyone got Dr. Smith saying.."We're going to have FUN! FUN! FUN!"

  • @priapus56 i have all the episodes on dvd if you tell me what episode that is i would upload the segment if youtube allows me to

  • @firstcowtails Oh! That would be superb if you could. Trouble is, I don't know which episodes he said it in. Quite a few I think.

  • Dr. Smith's change in personality happened quickly in the series. His ominous, deadly character didn't last very long. Near the end he bacame a pansy. I love Lost in Space. I grew up with it. But like all Irwin Allen shows it went downhill, very fast.

  • @49bobbyk

Yes...Johnathon Harris was a seasoned actor and knew that his character would be killed off unless things changed.

On another note: The writers really blew an opportunity in never pursing the Judy + Don love angle

  • My favourite:

Dr Smith: "I wonder what kind of horrible creature lurks inside that spaceship..."

    Will: "Probably none at all."

  • I can't help but think of a certain episode of "Frasier"

  • FANTASTIC! Thank you! Luv Jonathan Harris

  • Absolutely LOVE IT.......Thanx for putting this great video together...Dr. Smith was TOO FUNNY/CAMPY and may he rest in peace.

  • OOOOHHHH THE PAIN

  • CREATURE!

  • Lol... Bush creature....

  • Brilliant !

  • Michael Rennie @ 2:09!!

  • This creature he keeps referring to? .... Sarah Palin was definitely lost in space but ummmmm ?

  • After watching this clip I will never be able to hear the word creature again without the image of Dr Zachary Smith in my mind. WARNING Will Robinson, WARNING, Dr Smith is about to say creature again, WARNING.

  • Creature ahh.......

  • No one knows where he developed & what kind of "Accent" he uses

he's from the Bronx, New York

  • @tjfreak - He's English, not from the Bronx LoL!

  • @VirgilB01 Born Jonathan Charasuchin in the Bronx to impoverished Russian-Jewish émigrés, Jonathan Harris worked as a box boy in a pharmacy at age 12 and later earned his pharmacy degree at Fordham University. Ohhh..The pain ... The pain

  • @tjfreak - That may be the case, but anyone who was born in the Bronx from Russian -Jewish parents would not have a Heavilly English accent. It was developed by studying theatre over a number of years until he lost the Bronx or Russian accent.

  • Why was Will left alone w/ that evil man?

  • As Jonathan Harris told me in 1997, "I always made splendid use of the Languange"

  • SPIDERS

  • Uploader, you are my favorite virgin.

  • the 'cre-cha' at 1:21 is dressed like and looks like GRACE JONES...

  • I wonder if "creature" was written in the script, or Smith chose to say it all those times.

  • I always wished Dr. Smith would get his obnoxious ass kicked out the door for good. He was mighty aggravating.

I remember one time the Robinsons had escaped from some "creature" or another, and they could get away safely if they just abandoned Dr. Smith. There was some momentary indecision until goody-goody Mrs. Robinson insisted someone go back and save the swishy old fool. Even as a kid, I was annoyed at that turn of events.

  • Pure class :)

  • But he had the best vocabulary!

  • wow every scence with dr. smith, wow, i have the whole tv season

  • 'Creature' word origin: from Latin 'creatura', "thing created," from root stem of 'creare', "create." Meaning from 1600s, "anything that ministers to man's comforts".

It seems to me that the script writers chose this word to describe Dr. Smith. He is anti-creation, and perhaps we might call "gods" the creators.

'Smith' is of proto Indo-European base, "smei" - "to carve, cut"

Sometimes a =^.^= sees meaning in the dark. Thanks for video!

  • could be a new drinking game

  • oh the pain the pain!

  • Thanks for the great creature feature.

  • I love this show and how Smith always hides behind Will when there is an alien or "kree-cha". haha

  • He does get some mileage out of the word. Sort of like Spock with "Fascinating."

  • hilarious

  • á muito tempo procurava est film..lembra minh..infãncia ....

  • creature comfort

  • I don't think I ever would have left young Will Robinson alone with Doctor Smith.

  • I LOVE this SO much.

  • jonathan harris MADE the series!...i loved him, born in 1959, i grew up w/LIS!

  • You bubble headed booby

  • That is incredible! How long did it take you to do? Thanks for a fun clip!! Oh WILLIAM!!!

  • That 'creature' at 1:38 is delicious, dear boy...

  • Every time I count them I come up with a different number.

  • Should have ended it with a clip (there *must* be one) of someone else calling *him* a creature.

Anybody know if there's a montage of all the alliterative names he called the Robot? "Bubbleheaded boobie" and like that?

  • Yeah really, I remember that too the names he called the robot, it was TOO funny.

  • I recall he called the Robot "cybernetic sap" and stuff like that.

  • @Albacorewing

He just was the show man in my opinion. Loooking back at it now it was SOOO campy.

  • @oohyllab blithering booby!

  • what? it was 2002
