Here's an excerpt from the book:

Kacie's close friends had gone over to Samantha's house. They were on the back porch swing when Sam remembered a conversation she had had with Kacie a few weeks before. "She was always talking about how she wanted it to snow so bad and how she was going to be really pissed off if it was another year that we didn't have snow becaue it hadn't snowed for forever."

Samantha became quieter. "Kacie was like, 'If I get one more thing before I'm a hundred years old and die. I want it to snow. I want to see it snow in Arkkansas again."

When it started to snow that night, Sam burst into tears. She knew Kacie was gone.

Yes this is a very very sad story it was something that breaks my heart at the thought of. I am 25 and I try to warn the teens all the time of this and tell her story. There is a lot of information when you google her name or his name. You could probably google her fathers name.
