Week 17 - Amy - Buenos Aires, Argentina

Odio cuando los extranjeros "categorizan" al tango en un escalon de musica latina. El tango es una expresion cultural mundial, que se surgio gracias a los candombes afros mezclado con la musica europea popular (polonia, francia, italia). Tiene la particularidad que se dio en esta parte del mundo, lo cual no significa que sea precizamente "latina".

Aw your video was great! I can relate to the emotional confusion of traveling alone! It's very difficult to remain a positive person when you don't have close friends to travel with and lighten up the situation sometimes. I want to move to Buenos Aires next year, it looks amazing! I am currently in Tokyo now, and am going through difficulties dealing with isolation as well. Hang in there!

@megkoji99 you'll be welcome in Buenos Aires, but think it twice. The Economic situation here is really difficult and now we are having really dramatic security problems. In the outskirts of buenos aires, someone can kill you for 1 dollar. Tourists in general think buenos aires is great just because they come to visit the best places we have here, but Argentina it's not an exeption of what happens in most latin amercan countries. @johnsalchijohn Indeed. I'm Argentinian too. I can say that the most value thing we have is the people. We've got some problems, but the people is strong and have faith for the future. I really love my country

Try becoming engrossed in a video game, combined with a loving relationship, your life will very quickly find meaning. Shallow yes, but true. IF half the manic deppresive celebrities of this world tried video gaming, especially MMO / FPS, theyd soon find u can have fun without pumping yourself full of narcotics.
