Rock Band charts is better by far. More of those grace notes and no piano-charting, more chords were needed, less whitespace when possible, better relative note-accuracy.

fools guitar hero version came out first, way earlier than rb version. so those of you saying rb is more accurate? they had a chance to be more accurate with the notes but failed because afterall RB version came out like a year or two after GH so they should've had made it better but they didn't. and even though it was made by the same company... GH version was more challenging anyways.

You can't really compare the two charts like this, seeing as Guitar Hero 2 uses a cover. If you're going to compare charts, use the chart from Guitar Hero: Smash Hits. It uses the master track, just like Rock Band.

Actually, the drums do work. I use them all the time. As for the mic, I don't see why it wouldn't work since they are both simply USB formatted. And to answer the question, YES. The guitar will work. All the instruments from each game are interchangeable.

They both have their pros and cons, but I enjoy the layout of Rock Band a bit more. I used to be a Guitar Hero kind of guy, but since I like to focus on having fun, and not trying to complete these crazy sequences I have no time to practice, Rock Band is where it's at.

Still, it's all about the playlist, if you ask me, and it's quite the toss-up between the two.

Oh! I did not see the ps3 slim thing. That's a good idea knowing how huge that thing is. Sony should have made it slim in the first place. But that's besides the matter. It would literally take 20 times the sales they are making now to even come close to the Wii and 360.

Plus, with Project NATAL coming out and the Wii's 2009-2010 launch titles, Sony will be lucky enough to get 500k systems sold. But hey, ANYTHING can happen. It's still a good console.

After seing this, I will declare that Guitar Hero did a good job for the note chart.

It was pretty accurate compared to the Rock Band 2 version.

Altough I do feel that Guitar Hero does exaggerate on some songs for the Expert setting (such as "Barracuda" in Smash Hits).

But I think, the things to compare are the songs that happen to be on both games, not the games themselves.
