I swear Cortex has to be one of the illest bands of their time...this track alone doesn't even need to be sampled forreal. The whole structure of this song alone is so deep...if I had to explain music to someone who's never heard it in their lifetime, this is the song I would play

cortex released instrumental music, at least on their secon album. it's been re-issued in france in the 2000's. sounds more like a mix between herbie hancock and return to forever, with the french touch to it. if you ike this, you might like "edition spéciale" or "synhesis"
