Having grown from childhood to adulthoood in the 1960's I saw vast improvements in the civil rights accorded some of the most discriminated against U.S. citizens. For years I thought, and I still truly believe, society in our country was changing for the better.

It is with sadness that I now see progress on this front taking a turn as we regress and the liberties we were once so proud of are slipping away.

Thank You..MLK died for his non violent approach, that should be enough to give us the motivation to continue his work, which is what he would want. Instead we praise him, then go out and return acts of violence by them, with other acts of violence (Eh Mr. Obama). Leaving us exactly where have left off, and have been for quite some time now that has never worked for anyone but those that profit from it all.
