Oh i can top this. I got raped at the end with two fireballs then some @sshole drove into with triple green shells then somebody drove through with a star when they really didnt have too, then i finished 7/8.

Gah! I fell off at that exact place you did when I was online once. Is there a way to completely filter out blue shells? A lot of truly skilled players end up losing because of them.

Now, yes, the blue shell hit you, but what cost you your position wasn't the blue shell at all; it was the clumsy driving off a cliff, some time after the blue shell had passed.
