@sensorsweep - Sooooo... Just read the history of our founder? I assume you mean "Joseph Smith's History" and to read within the many volumes of his history foooooooooor? Recap: The history of Joseph Smith, written 40 years after his death, is only for those who don't THINK like you because your line of thinking is superior above all us unfortunate MORmONS who don't follow a mainstream version of Christianity whose foundation was never considered mainstream? Do you add anything unique to this?
@MsMambomama ok first i wanna know how God showed you it wasn't true, and how you met Jesus. Yes he does show His truth, but i want to know, according to you, how he shows His truth? i could say the same thing for you if you want the truth of anything He could cause you to believe it. thats false bc why would God want you to believe something that was false?! that makes no sense God is the Father of truth not lies. The book of mormon speaks clearly about God his gospel.
@anzianocaple Just ask MsMabomma, how how does he/she know the Bible is the Word of God. You will then realize that he/she has no reason to reject the BOok of Mormon.
@MsMambomama have you read the Book of Mormon? Because i dont think you would say that if you read it. 15 million plus have read and prayed about it and received an answer its true and that it comes from God.
"I tell you these things because of your prayers; wherefore, treasure up wisdom in your bosoms, lest the wickedness of men reveal these things unto you by their wickedness, in a manner which shall speak in your ears with a voice louder than that which shall shake the earth; but if ye are prepared ye shall not fear.
It's fairly obvious to me that when this day had come, you were un prepared and it shook you from your testimony... I stay to hold the bridge.
@MsMambomama - re-watch the video. But also see Part 1 because it explains why I allowed his face to be on the second video. NOT that he said any of the things mentioned in this video... but he has become a bit of a "poster child" for the crazy anti-Mormon beliefs that people still continue to perpetuate.
If you think that Shawn is 100% true, then you two deserve each other. As for me, I do not let quitters or the excommunicated losers of the church do my thinking for me. Do you do that?
@MsMambomama - when in your opinion have I lied about Shawn? I have called him a modern day Theudus and for good reason. Prophets and holy men were never revolutionaries. They never spoke ill towards others with one tongue and with the same tongue speak truth. It's an IMPOSSIBILITY! Reread... or read for the first time James 3: 11-17 and you'll see what I mean.
His bitterness and angst against the church for excommunicating him has left him to "Kick against the pricks" as the Bible says; simple.
You are completely dishonest. Shawn McCraney never said any of those things and you are trying to attribute those statements to him. This is another perfect example of dishonest Mormon apologetics. People can go to HOTM.TV and listen to all of his shows and find out for yourself that Shawn McCraney never said those things. This video is pure libel. Anybody can read D&C 132:20 and find out that Mormons believe they can become Gods. That means they are polytheistic and not Christian.
@howdypartnerhotm - Some people leave the church but they can't ever leave it alone. This is not an inaccurate statement regarding Shawn. Has he left? Can he leave it alone?
And in no way do I give direct quotes saying that this is what he wrote.
He had nothing to do with the strange and weird beliefs but if you hadn't seen the first part (this being a part 2 of a so far 2 part series...) then you couldn't possibly know why Shawn's image appeared again for this edition of Anti-Mormons.
I know that you're quoting the Old Testament, where people who disobeyed their parents were stoned to death, where women who menstruated were considered "impure", where God commanded the Israelites to kill men, children and steal the wives from people who worshipped another God.. and this same God tells me to give my hard earned money, and my abilities?? HELL, NO!!
From where I'm from I've seen poor people giving money they need for the construction of a temple that looks more like a mansion, compare that to the shacks these people live in..if I were this God, and demand money for my mansion when they're living in abject poverty, I would be so ashamed..!
This is true though: in order to reach the celestial kingdom, you have to go to this special building called temple and you can get there if you're worthy and....pay a fair tithing (money) for at least a year. No matter how you might try to justify it, you have to pay MONEY if you want to live with God, worthiness alone is not enough...
@UrStreatWrld - ask Abraham when you get there... it's an eternal law. God gives us ALL that WE are and HAVE! He asks us to give BACK 1/10th and THAT'S it! All of our talents...abilities. Ancient Israel had been considered and called "ROBBERS" for withholding and not paying an honest Tithe.
If you remember the scriptures, Jesus required that we give EVERYTHING... SELL ALL THAT YOU HAVE AND GIVE TO THE POOR. Is that your next plan? That's what Jesus said we should do. That's the higher law.
Even though I am fairly tall, I have limited expertise in basketball. I tell my friends that I dunk like John Stockton (who doesn't dunk), shoot free throws like Shaquille O'Neal (at about a 50-percent rate) and have the dashing good looks of -- name your plodding NBA center -- so I should have a bright future in the NBA. What has been said by many Mormons has been terrific, especially the work of KSL's Greg Wrubell. I can add little.
With little doubt, the most prominent Mormon news story this year has been the rise of BYU's basketball team and the recent discipline involving star center Brandon Davies.
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Daines, a former Mormon missionary, led former Gov. David Paterson's effort to create a "fat tax" on soda that would fund programs to fight childhood obesity.
Bishops, you have the priesthood keys to preside over the young men of the Aaronic Priesthood, to sit in council with them, and to teach them their priesthood duties. Please be certain each young man who is worthy to receive the Aaronic Priesthood understands the obligations and blessings which come to him as a bearer of the priesthood.
@omiolo the Aaronic priesthood was limited to Jewish male members from the tribe of Levi who were descendents from Aaron (Ex. 28:1; Num. 3:5-13; Heb. 7:5). The priesthood was inherited by descent from Aaron, not received through ordination. It was never supposed to be practiced by Gentiles (non-Jews). There is absolutely no teaching about this doctrine of Aaronic priesthood being practiced by Gentiles in the Old or New Testaments.
PROVO -- Many scholars believe there's no such thing as perfect Bible translation, yet despite the flaws in the King James Version of the Bible, it remains the version treasured by much of the world, including members of the LDS Church. During a three-day symposium sponsored by BYU in honor of the KJV's 400th anniversary this year, scholars shared insights about the translation's connection with the LDS faith, its historical background, textual distinctions and literary influence.
Robert Millet, a professor of ancient scripture in BYU's Religious Education Department, pointed out that because Mormons believe in an open canon, others often suggest that Mormons don't revere the Bible, or have even replaced it with their 'own Bible,' referring to the Book of Mormon.
@omiolo Mormonism has undermined the authority and trustworthiness of the Bible. The 8th article of faith from the Mormon Church states, "We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly." This means that when the Bible contradicts Mormonism, the Bible isn't trustworthy.
Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
@omiolo Why to Mormons when praying and talking about scripture speak in Old English? what that the language of Jesus? is that how they talked in His day? This is such a funny thing Mormons do because they "feel" it brings them closer by speaking Gods language yet it is not. God speaks to us through Jesus (Hebrews 1:1).
@omiolo - Dude, I'm in the wrong biz! I should be showing up at those tent revivals trying to sell ocean front property in Az! They believe EVERYTHING THEY'RE told about us Mormons WITHOUT QUESTION! And they think that we're brain washed!!! *rolls eyes*
@THELDSLIFE I read that to start an ANTImormon church in Utah, the going price is $250,000. The problem is you have to keep upping the ante on the rhetoric and hope your competitors don't have better (hateful) rhetoric than you do.
@omiolo - lol... I'm glad you liked that one. Sorry so long ago but yeah, I DO LAUGH also every time I play this song... after all, those anti-Mormons believe EVERYTHING they're told without QUESTIONING because it is pleasing to their ears and more conducive to their lifestyle. After all, if there be no sin... there be no consequence so if people think they can embrace some other thing and do so trusting in their own genius, thinking they know of themselves following other quitters into oblivion
WOW this video so such a crock, when did Shawn ever say any of this? why is his picture up here??? This makes Mormons look bad sorry to say, I am so glad God has shown me the truth and I am NOT A MORMON!!! So since I am not a Mormon I must be an Anti-Mormon right? This means since I am a Christian and you are not, thus you must be a Anti-Christian!
@Exodus314IAM You may not claim to be an AntiMormon, but by all of your comments here, you prove that you truly are. You seem to have great faith, but if you wish to share your faith, try it in a more loving way, as the Savior did. Remember, we are all human, and thus are subject to emotion and anger, but try to overcome that weakness.
@omiolo If we are to truly help others come unto Christ, we should try to be more like Him in loving them. Good job in defending, but perhaps try more love.
@dekidd007 This video shows the true way Mormons think, they slander the people who are just trying to bring the truth and they cannot handle that. I am not Anti-Mormon but I am Anti-Mormonism, I am Pro-Mormon, at least the ones who are seeking the truth. If God has hardened your heart there is nothing I or anyone else can do for you. This to me is sad but God does know what He is doing and He has a reason for this like Pharoah.
@Exodus314IAM You generalize too much. This is not how all mormons think. This is how a mormon who is tired of people bashing on our religion without taking time to honestly consider it has reacted. I find it hard to believe that God would harden my heart against my will and damn me to hell. If God so loved the world to send His Son, I cannot believe He would harden anyone's heart. We choose to harden our hearts.
@dekidd007 - I hope that this video does not appear reactionary. I hold the message with some level of sarcasm... but not contempt towards others. It's to say... I may have a twinge of spite when I made it. After all... for how long can a man continue receiving railing after railing before he shoves the assailant away in some form of self-defense?
@THELDSLIFE Trust me, I know the feeling. I am just afraid that we are doing more damage than good in many cases. Trust me, I know how frustrating it is, but no matter what we need to take the high road. Still, funny for me, but definitely not for all people.
@dekidd007 Exodus 10:20 God hardened Pharaoh's heart...John 12:40 The Pharisees...You can see God can coose to give up on you, not out of want but because you not only are being decieved but you do not even try to see the truth. In fact the truth is not in the Mormons, they follow false "Prophets" and false scriptures. The Bible is the ONLY proven true scripture and none other can even come close. Do you know the Bible, trust the Bible, follow the Bible? or "as long as it is translated correct"
@Exodus314IAM I am sorry that you feel need to pass judgment upon me even though you have never met me. You do not know me, you do not know the struggles or the path I have taken in my life. I was hoping to help you in your cause that perhaps you could argue in an uplifting way rather than tearing people down. I am not going to toss scriptures back to you because you will have your own beliefs about everything I say. You have great faith and the Lord loves you. I just wish you could love others
@dekidd007 Sorry if you feel I was pointing at you alone, I to would fall under this same punishment if I did not have the truth in me. The Holy Spirit that God has given me is what rings out as the truth. You cannot earn it and you are not born with is (in most cases) God chooses to give it to you when you accept the truth, Gods Grace. We accept that we can nad will not ever be good enough, that without Jesus (the true Jesus) we will never see God, for God cannot give us the Spirit.
@Exodus314IAM Yes, but as Christ invited us so many times to knock and seek, we must make the effort to come to Him. Our Heavenly Father loves us so much, and respects our right to choose that He will never force anything upon us that we are not ready and prepared to accept. If we do not make the effort to be worthy of the knowledge He will give us, or if we don't show any desire to receive this knowledge and spirit, He will not force us by giving it to us.
@dekidd007 "If we do not make the effort to be worthy"?? what can you or me "do" to be worthy of anything from God (Romans 3:12)? We are justified by FAITH alone, nothing else and nothing we can "do" (Romans 5:1).
@Exodus314IAM And this is exactly why this argument will never work. I am sure that what I am saying doesn't seem to make sense to you, but to me it sounds as though you just contradicted yourself and what you have said. I believe we must knock, seek, find, show our faith through our works. I can say whatever I want to in my life, but I must walk the talk. I can understand what you believe, but I will not toss back scriptures and use the word of God as ammo.
@dekidd007 Heb. 4:12 "For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart," The word of God is to "pierce" us, so again what can you "do" to be worthy??
@Exodus314IAM I am not going to throw scriptures at you. All that does is take religion, Christ, and turn it into a contentious subject that drives away the spirit. Why do you fight over a belief in Christ? Again, I extol, take a loving approach, not a overruling one.
@dekidd007 Mormonism teaches that God the Father has a body of flesh and bones (D. & C. 130:22) and that Jesus is a creation. It teaches that he was begotten in heaven as one of God’s spirit children. This is in strict contrast to the biblical teaching that he is God in flesh (John 1:1, 14), eternal (John 1:1, 2, 15), uncreated, yet born on earth (Col. 1:15), and the creator all (John 1:3; Col. 1:16-17). Who is your Jesus? Of the Bible or of Joseph Smith?
@Exodus314IAM You still want to fight, and I will not succumb to this. If you are simply going to try to badger me and fight in a way I refuse to fight, then I will stop responding. If you will actually listen to me rather than just throw scriptures and accusations around, then I will take time. In the mean time, God bless you.
@dekidd007 I do not want to fight, I want you t ofind the truth. Jesus is God, the only God, and you must seek Him and trust Him alone. I just want you to not be fooled by the liar and thief, he want only for you to travel down that wide path. I am not trying to attack you or fight with you, I just want you to seek the truth. Do not take my word for it or anyone at your church, seek God's truth my friend please. Not for me or even you but for God! All the glory goes to God alone.
@omiolo2 Again, Shawn never said this! Mormons are so easy, sorry to say, you say something against what they were told is true and oops they are a "anti-Mormon"...LOL Seek the truth, trust the Bible!
@omiolo Did you watch this video? When did Shawn say “Don Smith went into the desert, ate peyote, and had a vision.”? Never or "Before a temple wedding, the bishop gets to have sex with a man’s wife before her husband" again never. what books?
@omiolo2 OK besides Joseph Smiths deranged Mind where is there any proof of a language called "reformed Egypt"? Since Joseph said it, it must be true like you must have many wives to get to the highest level of Heaven? Oh wait that on changed right?
@omiolo Whatever you need to say or take to numb the truth right, I am sorry if God has hardened your heart, I really am. If not then you do have a chance to seek the truth. I pray, if God has not forsaken you, that you find the truth in the Biblical Jesus!
@Exodus314IAM SAVE your platitudes and pious acrimony for the judgment day! The day you BORN AGAINSTS deny as you declare yourselves the ultimate judge of salvation!
@omiolo It is not me you have to worry about my friend, if it was you would have nothing to be worried about. God will judge you, not on what you ahve done but who you are in Jesus Christ of the Bible. Have you accept Jesus (God) as your Lord and Saviour, knowing that you are a lost sinner and that without Jesus you will never see Heaven? Or are you still "working" your way to your salvation?
"And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their WORKS."
your faith is NOT based in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. REPENT.
@omiolo There are several judgments: the judgment of the believer's sins (John 5:24), the judgment of the believer's self (1 Cor. 11:31-32), the judgment of the believer's works (2 Cor. 5:10), the judgment of the nations (Matt. 25:31-46), and the judgment of the wicked (Rev. 20:11-15).
@Exodus314IAM "So you are in the wicked area I am guessing?"
Probably. Either way Revelations 20 verse 12 says both small and great were judged. NO where does it say the WICKED, you ONCE AGAIN, have allowed yourself to be deceived. You should really STOP adding words to the BIBLE. Learn to accept it for what it says, NOT what you want it to say.
@omiolo so your saying God can't speak anymore? read deuteronomy 4:2 and it says don't add...but there is a lot more scripture after that added! plus in john 21:25 it says"And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen. I promise if you just read the Book of Mormon and pray about it you will get an answer that it's true and it comes from God.
It is easier for people to believe a LIE than believe the TRUTH. Shawn McCraney knows this and laughs himself silly all the way to the bank. One day ANTImormons will be forced to tell the truth before the Judgment Bar of God. I take satisfaction in that.
@omiolo2 So you look forward to someone spending eternity in Hell?? When did Jesus ever say we should look forward to someone loosing out on Heaven? This is a side of Mormons that I never knew was there. I do learn more and more about the Mormon Brain washing every day.
I am here to bring the truth to the lost so they will not miss out on Gods FREE Gift of eternal life. Seek God, Seek the truth "Jesus".
@Exodus314IAM I look forward to ANTImormons being forced to tell the truth. You should NOT every now and then practice so you do NOT have to do for the first time at the Judgment Bar.
@omiolo Well true Christians are not going to face judgment John 5:24 "He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." So you brand me as a anti Mormon that makes you a...anti Christian!! Good luck! I wish you the best at that judgment... maybe you did enough right?
@Exodus314IAM I can't speak for "O" but I don't consider myself anti-Christian, that would be silly. However I do believe some of Shawn M's comments can be used against him. Some of the arguments that are supposed to be directed to LDS only but can easily be applied to other Protestant or Evangelical faiths. Believe it or not my biggest ally in getting my household to go to church is my live Pentecostal mother in law! LOL Looking into John 5, heard of that b4 and I want to know more about it.
@Dalessiokiller You are correct, Shawn is human and does make mistakes, but this type of attack against "him" as a person just shows how most Mormons are programed to defend what they are told is true by men. You showed me this also in your comment that your mother in law is the one who got you to go to church yet that is so wrong, God alone can change your heart not man. Seek the truth (Jesus) my friend it will save you and your family.
@Exodus314IAM I agree that we are all allowed to make mistakes. I might have worded my last statement wrong. Basically my family was inactive in any church. Certain fam' members said going to church isn't needed, etc.. The In law simply stated that we should be spending time with God and at church there are no distractions so there's no better place to do that. I was born again b4 LDS. God has changed me. If you think I'm a mess now you should have known me b4 ...whew! - scary!
@Dalessiokiller We attend church for fellowship not as a requirment, a true follower of Jesus is a relationship not a religion. You said you were "Born Again"? I find this hard to believe, to be truly Born Again you will have a life changing experiance and that is what is it to be a true Christian. Not a set of rule or things to "do" but it is a relationship with Jesus. I pray that you can find that relationship with the true Jesus of the Bible and not of Joseph Smith.
@Exodus314IAM I agree that it is indeed a fellowship. I am part of a very well organized church. I agree that Christ didn't start a religion but an organized church. It was and still is his. He became one with it, he married it. That's biblical. I believe that. I explained that to a Pentecostal pastor when he refused me to participate in taking the bread/etc, because I wasn't baptized in "HIS" church. What? My 1st church had disbanded due to other issues
@Dalessiokiller I like Joseph Smiths quote "The can't see us, were in the spirit world"...Wait he said we all started off in the spirit world. LOL...Mormons.
@THELDSLIFE The term "son of God" is used in two main ways in the Old Testament. Neither way denotes any physical relation to God. Rather, the references deal with those who are under divine obedience to the call of God. It is used of Israel as a nation through the Exodus. Hosea 11:1 says, "When Israel was a youth I loved him, and out of Egypt I called My son."
It is also used in reference to angels, in Job 1:6, it says, "Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them." Also, in Job 38:7, as you pointed out, these are in reference to angels who are created beings and in no way implies literal dependency from God.
(sigh) I do hope you study the Bible and most of all trust the Bible as the ONLY true word of God!
The comments below are just two out of a bunch, most by the same user. If you want to see the others, I will PM you the link to the video-which happens to be just a sweet family vlog. Each comment is more outrageous than the next. At least some of the bigoted nuts TRY and base PART of the stories they make up in fact. Not this guy! He just goes all out making crazy statements!
This is a great video. Most of these people are the same ones who tell us "Love everyone!" (but not Mormons!)
This is another myth. Mormons say that Missionary work is 100% voluntary however they are being forced go to on missions which are often suicide missions leading in death, rape, assault, etc. They are going against their will often times to go to hell on earth and even forced to pay sometimes in excess of $10,000 for this. This is madness, why would someone with family values rob their children of money and force them to go on a suicide mission to a 3rd world country!! This is nuts
Oh, do I have some good ones for you! From day before yesterday, by user "Armornone":
"I know exactly what I am talking about. I know more about the mormon religion than most mormons do and I can tell you that is a money making machine by exploiting minorities. They are setting up special Spanish churches, Korean churches and African churches in the US in order to get minorities. You have abandoned Americans ! For shame!"
You who does not obey the gospel of Christ, just read the history of you godless founder Joseph Smith.

Bishops, you have the priesthood keys to preside over the young men of the Aaronic Priesthood, to sit in council with them, and to teach them their priesthood duties. Please be certain each young man who is worthy to receive the Aaronic Priesthood understands the obligations and blessings which come to him as a bearer of the priesthood.
omiolo 1 year ago

Exodus314IAM 1 year ago

I hope this helps, God Bless.
Exodus314IAM 1 year ago
@Exodus314IAM You generalize too much. This is not how all mormons think. This is how a mormon who is tired of people bashing on our religion without taking time to honestly consider it has reacted. I find it hard to believe that God would harden my heart against my will and damn me to hell. If God so loved the world to send His Son, I cannot believe He would harden anyone's heart. We choose to harden our hearts.

Exodus314IAM 1 year ago
@Exodus314IAM Yes, but as Christ invited us so many times to knock and seek, we must make the effort to come to Him. Our Heavenly Father loves us so much, and respects our right to choose that He will never force anything upon us that we are not ready and prepared to accept. If we do not make the effort to be worthy of the knowledge He will give us, or if we don't show any desire to receive this knowledge and spirit, He will not force us by giving it to us.
dekidd007 1 year ago
@dekidd007 "If we do not make the effort to be worthy"?? what can you or me "do" to be worthy of anything from God (Romans 3:12)? We are justified by FAITH alone, nothing else and nothing we can "do" (Romans 5:1).
Exodus314IAM 1 year ago
@Exodus314IAM And this is exactly why this argument will never work. I am sure that what I am saying doesn't seem to make sense to you, but to me it sounds as though you just contradicted yourself and what you have said. I believe we must knock, seek, find, show our faith through our works. I can say whatever I want to in my life, but I must walk the talk. I can understand what you believe, but I will not toss back scriptures and use the word of God as ammo.
dekidd007 1 year ago
@dekidd007 Heb. 4:12 "For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart," The word of God is to "pierce" us, so again what can you "do" to be worthy??
Exodus314IAM 1 year ago
@Exodus314IAM I am not going to throw scriptures at you. All that does is take religion, Christ, and turn it into a contentious subject that drives away the spirit. Why do you fight over a belief in Christ? Again, I extol, take a loving approach, not a overruling one.
dekidd007 1 year ago
@dekidd007 Mormonism teaches that God the Father has a body of flesh and bones (D. & C. 130:22) and that Jesus is a creation. It teaches that he was begotten in heaven as one of God’s spirit children. This is in strict contrast to the biblical teaching that he is God in flesh (John 1:1, 14), eternal (John 1:1, 2, 15), uncreated, yet born on earth (Col. 1:15), and the creator all (John 1:3; Col. 1:16-17). Who is your Jesus? Of the Bible or of Joseph Smith?
Exodus314IAM 1 year ago
@Exodus314IAM You still want to fight, and I will not succumb to this. If you are simply going to try to badger me and fight in a way I refuse to fight, then I will stop responding. Exodus314IAM 1 year ago
@Exodus314IAM "God will judge you, not on what you ahve done"
really? My Bible disagrees with you. My Bible says I will be judged of my works.
Revelations 20:13
"And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their WORKS."
your faith is NOT based in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. REPENT.
omiolo 1 year ago
@omiolo There are several judgments: the judgment of the believer's sins (John 5:24), the judgment of the believer's self (1 Cor. 11:31-32), the judgment of the believer's works (2 Cor. 5:10), the judgment of the nations (Matt. 25:31-46), and the judgment of the wicked (Rev. 20:11-15).
So you are in the wicked area I am guessing?
Exodus314IAM 1 year ago
@Exodus314IAM "So you are in the wicked area I am guessing?"
Probably. Either way Revelations 20 verse 12 says both small and great were judged. NO where does it say the WICKED, you ONCE AGAIN, have allowed yourself to be deceived. You should really STOP adding words to the BIBLE. Learn to accept it for what it says, NOT what you want it to say.
omiolo 1 year ago 6
@omiolo so your saying God can't speak anymore? read deuteronomy 4:2 and it says don't add...but there is a lot more scripture after that added! plus in john 21:25 it says"And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen. I promise if you just read the Book of Mormon and pray about it you will get an answer that it's true and it comes from God.

@omiolo Well true Christians are not going to face judgment John 5:24 "He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." Exodus314IAM 1 year ago
Dalessiokiller 1 year ago
@Dalessiokiller You are correct, Shawn is human and does make mistakes, but this type of attack against "him" as a person just shows how most Mormons are programed to defend what they are told is true by men. You showed me this also in your comment that your mother in law is the one who got you to go to church yet that is so wrong, God alone can change your heart not man. Seek the truth (Jesus) my friend it will save you and your family.
Exodus314IAM 1 year ago

Not a set of rule or things to "do" but it is a relationship with Jesus. I pray that you can find that relationship with the true Jesus of the Bible and not of Joseph Smith.

Exodus314IAM 1 year ago
It is also used in reference to angels, in Job 1:6, it says, "Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them." Also, in Job 38:7, as you pointed out, these are in reference to angels who are created beings and in no way implies literal dependency from God.
