  • Say Goodnight to the Bad guy (scarface) :D

  • BIGB is the best!!!...no comparisons please

  • Just because the HINDI language is not understood and spoken around the world as much as ENGLISH, doesnt make Amitabh any less of an actor. DEEWAR came way before Scarface for anyone who wants to argue about Amitabh copying Pacino. The only thing Amitabh openly admitted to be inspired by was Marlon Brandos Godfather voice.

  • Amitabh is a great actor but he is NOTHING in front of Pacino. Al's performance in Scarface is so superior to anything i've seen in bollywood that the fact that tony montana is being compared to vijay chouhan is an insult to talent. I dunno about other movies but no one can even come close to Al's genius in scarface.

  • Everyone comparing Amitabh N Pacino first understand one thing Pacino hasnt done the kind of various roles that Bachchan has, Pacino in most of his films has been a cop or a Gangster whereas Bachchan has almost done each n every role that could be played on screen.

  • THE SEATED ELEPHANT IS NEVERTHE LESS TALLER THAN THE STANDING HORSE,FORGET MULES AND HALF BREEDS..SUCH IS AMITABH BACHCHAN TO INDIAN CINEMA...NO COMPARISON,WHAT SOEVER!

  • What you lookin' at? You all a bunch of fuckin' assholes. You know why? You don't have the guts to be what you wanna be? You need people like me. You need people like me so you can point your fuckin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." So... what that make you? Good? You're not good. You just know how to hide, how to lie. Me, I don't have that problem. Me, I always tell the truth. Even when I lie. So say good night to the bad guy! The last time you gonna see a bad guy like this again.

  • @ashashway clear cut copy hain SCARFACE ka. scene bhi same hain dailogue bhi similar hain.

No wonder agneepath got bombed at the Box office.

  • al pacino & amitabh bacchan both belong to a different culture,,so dont compare :D

  • Al Pacino is a legend and amitabh is good also. But, amitabh is highly overrated in indian cinema. They are both good in their own fields.

  • pacino is god..bachan is shit...u cant defend bachan because he is not orignal

  • You are all motherfuckers. How you can you compare this tall pipe of water to Al Pacino. Al Pacino is like a god. I am Indian and I am saying that. Amitab is so overrated.

  • @Almogrew

The English's servant's blood running through your veins is making you say that. You haven't really seen and understood Amitabh's acting and have just spent a life licking English boots.

  • Ny1 speakng against amitabh....

    Is ASS HOLE.....

N get Fuck Off 4m here......

    Mothrfuckrs......

  • this scene is not a copy of Scarface. this is a copy of Richard Burton in Villain made in the late 60s

  • WdF iz Amitab infront of Pacino...

  • Pacino couldnt do anything like Amitabh in this film in this scene & many others especially the end where he speaks to his mother and dies in her arms. Tell Pacino to create magic like that i can guarantee you he will fail because he is just not cut out for it, he was such an idiot in scarface a joke. Even James Cagney & Bogart were better in those type of roles can't compare him to Amitabh

  • @SDSen guess you have not seen pacino's other films, real magic was when he danced the tango as a blind colonel in scent of a woman. amitabh?? no comparison.

  • @Almogrew I've already mentioned Pacino's greatness in Scent of a Woman onthe previous page I was strictly talking about Scarface & Agnipath & giving my viewpoint

  • I can't understand the comparison this is a Hindi film inspired by Scarface but yet different ..What was so fascinating about Pacino in scarface? He was great in films like 'scent of a woman' but in scarface he was absolutely crap if compared to Amitabh here. All Pacino did in scarface was say the 'Fuck' word a couple of hundred times if thats your criteria of a good actor then Joe Pesci is the best ever.

  • @SDSen ...and goin by ur perspective all amitabh did was hayen hayen...and oh yes joe pesci is actually one of gr8

  • @TheChadhaishmeet He did a lot more than 'Hayen' he actually acted. Joe Pesci is not even worhty of a mention. Al Pacino was terrific in other films but in scarface he was a pain in the backside IMO

  • "neeche angaar laga hai kya tumhare".............lol

  • bharam kara diya..saala

  • Amitabh looks more intense than Al Pacino in Scarface - 'what are you smoking?'. Amitabh overacts , overindulges with some very, very cheap dialogue in this scene. Yes Hindi film should stay hindi - an English should stay English. Just stop being 'copycats' . That's all.

  • no pacino no scarface and subsequently no agneepath either

  • this is definitely a great scene, but the scene just before this one in front of the police office is my favourite. It's a beautiful lesson in acting with intensity

  • aye..kaat lena isme se...classic :D

  • Raw Scene. No 1 can do it like Amitabh. True Don

  • i am a pakistani sikh but I say to you bollywood is more popular worldwide than hollywood. Bollywood movies play daily in central asian countries and south east asian countries and the middle east. Everyone knows who these guys are. The uplifting mood and tempo of indian films cant be beaten by the negativeism of american films

  • @sikhman100 *cough*avatar*cough*

  • exact copy of scarface movie... here amitabh tryin to act like al pacino

  • lol at 0:48..niche angaar laga hai kya tumhare??...

  • dude this scene is really meaningful more than the one in scarface that was a drunken scene remember"... SAY GOODNIGHT TO THE BAD GUY..." plus pacino always had the advantage of the fuck world..i assure you that amitabh is as good an actor as al pacino if not better..he's just great..

  • Comment removed

  • Indians always stare.

  • too good scene

  • Amitabh zindabad...these motherfukers high socity middle class indians think that we poor not well educated indians are janwaar not insaan...fuck mother fucker bloody middle and high class english speaking sperms of british..i fuck educated indians...rurel indian zindabad

  • Al Pacino though might be original in this scene but not as intensified as Big B did it. Pacino had the "fuck" word and nothing else.

  • lol you cnt compare al pacino to sme bollywood man. i mean his overacting

  • @pmehta82 pacino had fuck,, big b had "sala". Both are good, so dont try to demean one actor over another. Both are legends.

  • The problem with 90% of the desis (Indians) is that they will keep on criticizing Indian movies telling that they are rip off from Hollywood movies. However at the end of the day they won't miss a single Indian movie. Fucking hypocrites. If its a rip off then better don't watch and fuck off!!

  • You are very smart. This always happens, but the truth is with the Bollywood twists, it makes it alot better. Partner was better than Hitch. Also, look at the original scripts like Ishqiya. You try finding Cjutiam Sulphate in a Hollywood move. Bollywood is very good, but very criticized by people who can't understand good cinema.

  • ya..u know I have no enmity with Hollywood. But it irritates me when our own people don't respect our Indian cinema (Bollywood as tagged by our media). They keep on saying..oh this film is a copy of a hollywood movie and all that BS. Everyone knows the whole of India and its public don't care whether its a rip off or not.

  • The whole of India does copy at some stage or the other...be it class assignments, exams or worse some entrance tests too. At that time why don't our Indians give credit to those from whom they have copied ....lol First the public should clean up their own character only then they have the right to blame our Indian scriptwriters and directors.

  • Yes, you are very correct in this matter. I don't have enmity either with Hollywood, they have some good mobies. Besides, this film (Agneepath) is inspired and based on the life of Mumbai underworld gangster Manya Surve. He was the first person to be shot dead in an encounter by the Mumbai police. The main character, Vijay Dinanath Chauhan (played by Amitabh Bachchan) was heavily based on Surve, with Bachchan even copying the gangster's voice.

  • oh i didn't know this fact...gud..u seem to have a gr8 knowledge about Indian movies...nice to see some loyal people like you who like our cinema..keep it up

  • Yea, I just did a bit of background research. You know like people say Sarkar is a copy of The Godfather, but it is somewhat based on the bastard Bal Thackarey's life as well, so how is there the question of a copy. And Sarkar Eaj was very original too.

  • gud...ya Bal Thackrey and his nephew Raj are pieces of shit in Indian politics who know how to divide the already divided Indian society. If I had connections to the underworld and I had enough finances then I would have surely financed their deaths.

  • The swagger, the dress, the "hey" before many sentences, the ability to take many bullets and not die! all tony montana.

Also the driven, brooding, angry personality. But at the same time AB had been playing and perfecting angry young men a long long time before pacino. and scarface did not have the great dialogue of AB plus the story line is totally different, alho the inspiration similar.

  • @sikhman100 Thank you very much for having

a similar opinion to me. Sorry I accidentally flagged your comment because the new format of youtube is a bit annoying. Nowadays films are very good like A Wednesday!, Rann, Apahaaran, Gangajal, Also, I would like to see Hollywood make a film like Ishqiya. They just can't.

  • say good night to the bad guy

  • it is not full copy of scarface both movies are fully diffrent...

  • May be a rip off from Scarface but much more meaningful and excellent scene here as compared to Scarface which had "fuck" word endlessly in the whole movie.

  • superb scene though copied from scarface

  • cant believe people fuckin watch this and type bad words dont fuckin watch it if u dont like it

  • Aye Tum Sala Angreyzee Log Al Pacino ka kya baat karta hai haa.. Sala Idhar kayko aata hai yeh scene dekhne phir????

  • top movie shame it flopped at da box office!

  • It flopped in the Box office coz it was not originally dubed in Big B's Voice.

The voice was not clear and high pitced.

So it was released again with Big B's Dubbing but it was too late.

  • Yes, Big B's baritone voice is really amazing. It's a shame when people make fun of the Indian accent, yet we have such great English speakers. Others are Naseerudin Shah, Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan. Even those not from the industry speak good English, and they use more sophisticated words than the American public which makes fun of the accent.

  • neechay angaar laga hai tumhare.......lol

  • lol

  • Classic Amitabh from a classic movie. I love the way he says, "Ye saala kya tumhara baap ka maal hain?"...great acting.

  • Ya spptube !! even i liked tht scene " Ye saala kya tumhara baap ka maal hain?"

The most raging scene i have ever seen from Mr Amitabh !! He simply Rocks !!

  • oh my god!!! guys, is this a copy of SCARFACE O_O

  • correction its and idea not a copy

  • You know, you people who say all of Bollywood is a copy of Bollywood need to educate yourselves more. The film is inspired and based on the life of Mumbai underworld gangster Manya Surve. He was the first person to be shot dead in an encounter by the Mumbai police. The main character, Vijay Dinanath Chauhan (played by Amitabh Bachchan) was heavily based on Surve, with Bachchan even copying the gangster's voice.

  • i think it might be based on manye surve , but many scenes, charachters and themes/relationships are very similar to those in scarface.

this film is clearly heavily inspired by scarface , but there is nothing wrong with that. personally i have liked this film for a long time and i dont care if it is inspired by scarface. afterall , all films, music, art is inspired by something else.

scarface was actually a remake of a black and white film which was inspired by some other film ....etc.

  • Yea you know, it's the circle of life. The language and types of acting may be an inspiration, but if you read the plots there are a lot of differences. Also, it is a shame the world, including many Desis think Bollywood copies Hollywood. There are so many original scripts, but when they see one very short scene copied from Hollywood, they say, "Wow, Hollywood copies Bollywood". There are so many good movies like Ishqiya, Kaminey Rann, Company, and others that are original and good.

  • @flowersonthelund bollywood is unique from hollywood totally different i agree.

Plus these days with indian films being more diverse in their genre and much more than the 80's type formula, of hero, heroine, fighting and singing etc.

Agneepath is unique and "indian" enough to be a tottally different film to Scarface but at the same time AB does an amazing job of making his own indian Tony Montana.

  • Wait, Why are ya'll comparing the two again? Apples and Oranges ppl! You cant compare an American Actor with an Indian actor....However, I got to represent for my Desi ppl and show some mad love for Amita! Thats what class looks like baby!

  • amitji aka BIGB at his best in this film.

    unbeatable and xtraordinary perfomance

no wonder he got national awards for this

i think its unfair 2 compare BIGB with AL PACINO......

    both are simply living legends

  • BULLSHIT, this tall bastard is no where close to Al Pacino, Al Pacino is BADASS

  • Man , they copied the same scene from Agneepath

  • No, this was 1990, Scarface was 1983, but it's not a copy as these uneducated people say. The film was inspired and based on the life of Mumbai underworld gangster Manya Surve. He was the first person to be shot dead in an encounter by the Mumbai police. The main character, Vijay Dinanath Chauhan (played by Amitabh Bachchan) was heavily based on Surve, with Bachchan even copying the gangster's voice.

  • But that said so so many scenes ripped from scarface but given an indian AB slant.. this restaraunt scene, the helicopter scene, the killing ghora scene, the meeting the drug baron, the prodigal son dinner, the relationship with younger sister etc etc. But all the time it stays a uniquely different to scarface movie with things like the father storyline, the inclusion of Krishnan iyer yum yeh etc.

Great background music too. Its very much inspired by scarface but different film totally

  • i love amitabh, i love al pacino they both are my fave actors, i enjoyed both their performances and thats what its all about my enjoyment lol fuck the haters

  • al pacino was the biggest shit in scarface his crappiest film it doesnt compare with Amitabh in this film

  • Scarface is the best. Alpacino is so original in that. Bollwood can not compete with hollywood like this.

  • Bollywood always copy hoolywood movies. Bollywood has complex, lack of confidence. Amitabh bachan is a great actor no doubt. But AL PACINO is way better than Amitabh. I think AL PACINO can be compared with DILIP KUMAR. Amitabh bachan;s acting is artificial not original like ALPACINO. Al pacino is the best. No comparison man. Waoo. AL PACINO is the DILIP KUMAR of Hollywood.

  • This is real acting..I think Agneepath a much better version of Scarface.

  • Amitji is just AMAZING. look at how naturally and effortlessly he has enacted this scene as if he is facing this situation in real life. People, cinema is copied around the world either from a novel or another film. Please stop arguing about the fact that this a copy of Scarface. Al Pachino may have done an excellent job in the original one, yet Amitji carved a niche in his own way in this film.

  • you beeyatch scarface wannabees need to understand that he is a Actor, not a writer or director, whatever is in the movies script is what he does, he probably didnt even watch scarface.

Also this is not a scarface type scene. dum punkass bitches.

  • this secen is a ripoff from the movie Scarface with Al Paccino.

  • thats possibly the worst suit ever worn by amitabh... a suit on top of a zip sports top :S

  • guys let me tell that he is acting like

al pacino from the scene in scarface

try to copie alpacino but it was good

  • .I am PlanetCop.

  • Hawa teez chalta hai Dinkar Rao...Topi sambhalo.. ud jayega!!!!

  • Superb...who cares if itz a ripoff..BIG B BEST

  • fuck pacino hes got nothing no chance against amitabh you stupid f**ck

  • Come on man, Al Pacino is great actor friend. Please they both are great artists. You wont like any1 using obscene language for Amitabh. Others wont like it is used for Al Pacino.

  • fuck that.. Al Pacino is way better cause his the original Scarface! got that?

  • HAHAHAHHAHAH!!! Get ur facts rite!

Al pacino is one the greatest actors in the world and he has produced one of the biggest and the most famous roles in the world!!

EMMY ACADEMY BAFTA GOLDEN GLOBE OSCAR u name it..he even has AFI life achievement award which is the HIGHEST HONOUR givin in a professional acting!! amithab is really good aswell but nothing infront of al pacino !!

  • kidhar jaata hain tum bitho!!!!! lollllllllll soooooooooo funnyyyyyyyyy lolllllll

  • man why are u comparing hindi with english, i am pretty sure if al pacino try to learn hindi he would suck in this scene and if amitabh said it in english would be a shitty scene lets leaver amitabh for hindi and pacino for english ehh

  • mind you.. amitabhs english is excellent, watch him in Black. So he wouldn't sound crap.. Amitabhs acting is flawless

  • I wear your fathers owned?, worked for it I did, understand!, (pointing A), hey you, what you looking at?, eh?, what you looking at, just now bastards!, u quiet, I arrived you all shut up>, I arrived here with money, hard work!, understand, like a cobbler I polished shoes!, have u ever polished shoes?,

  • And here is a man, ladies and gentlemen, that doesn't understand differences in colloquial language or culture. Please refrain from using your mindless opinion. It really doesn't matter.

  • so what if its a copy of scarface amitabh acted his heart watch and enjoy

  • look at the intensity in the potrayal of his character.. purely amazing.

  • this scene has been lifted from 'Scarface'....Al Pacino would've done it much better.

    no offense to amit ji.

  • you are second person who noticed. Bollywood has been ripping off Hollywood since the old days and not just recently.

  • The lines of Scarface were better, genuis. Bachchan played one of his best roles just like Pacino. I like Bachchans acting a bit more, but both were great. This scene was indeed a rip off from Scarface. And to be honest i like the Scarface scene a bit better. But just like i said, both very very good!

  • A Clean Rip off from the movie Scarface starring Al Pacino !

  • this scene way better than Scarface...our Indian movies don't have that American four letter word which was used 90% in Scarface..lol
