Also, I knew You Get To Burning would be top 20! That show is amazing, it was huge in japan, it's sad that most North American anime fans have never even heard of it. Also surprised that Do you remember love didn't crack top 10, since it is a land mark in seiyuu and anime song history, being the first, and probably only song that became so internationally popular it made the seiyuu a continental pop super star

@andredidiergijon I think Eva is slightly better. They both have a ton of flaws, and a ton of things that land them as masterpieces, but the flaws in Cowboy bebop hurt the show, while after my 8th watch through of both shows, Evas flaws just seem to make the show better. Then again, I never watch the last two episodes and replace them with the movie, which honestly increases the entire experience of the show greatly. If I watched the last 2 episodes each time, I might not view it at number 1

@damanwithdaskillz well, thats your opinion, I personally think that Evangelion is also one of the greatest but I wouldn't put it in top5 because neither the plot or the ost are that special to be in top5. as I said thats just an opinion, its imposible to say which anime is the best of all cos there are many masterpieces, (all of them are from 70's, 80's and 90's XD) for example dragonball (the first one), captain tsubasa, heidi, ccs and many more I cant remember right now ;)

@andredidiergijon It is totally an opinion, I thought plot in Eva was astounding, but maybe that's because I spent too much time trying to understand it XD. One thing is certain though, all the best anime are from 70's-90's. DBZ was a piece of shit but the original Dragon Ball was wonderful, I'm sad most people haven't seen it or only know of DBZ, but that's just because Americans grew up with it. Seeing older shows like Ideon and Yamato blew my mind though

I have only waited for kiseki no umi... you're quite a fan of old animes and mecha... and I know, that Record of Lodess War is pretty old, so it was for sure that this song will appear... I love it as well... eventhough I don't know the anime^^

Other than Aquarion, and possibly Digimon, top 5 were the guaranteed always top 5. Eva was clearly the number 1 from 300 songs back. I was honestly Expecting Tori no Uta at 2 and Platinum around 4/5 and Yurazenai around 5/6, so I was close. Surprised Tune the Rainbow beat out Hemisphere and dis-, since those are cult favorite songs in japan. Also, WTF is ai oboete imasu ka doing out of the top 10? Especially for a japan made list!

#50: Kiseki no Umi from Record of Lodoss War (TV), should have been higher than 50 imo ;) But then again you could grab a couple of more songs from the series that should be top 60 as well. Adesso e fortuna for example.

Was gonna complain about only one slayers song in top 300 but then they put the slayers Next op at #7 :)

Overall a good top 300, did miss some song to represet Initial D and kinda wondering how Vandread opening didn't make its way into the list somehow, oh and more Noir FFS >.>
