I never got to go. I work Culver, my sister work at the academy. My niece is going there for winter as did my nephew. My brother went to summer school and so did my dad and uncle. When I was a kid girls were not allowed.
I also have another niece and nephew going in summer camp and maybe in the winter school.
You will love it. All the students become a large family. Many people think it is a military school for bad kids but in truth if you cause trouble or do not keep your grades up you are out of there.
I work in Culver. The town is tiny but you really dont need much while at school and you can always go up to South Bend if you need something.
