I don't know whether to congratulate you for the first ever performance on youtube I actually liked, or myself for having found it haha. But of course congrats go to you sir and thanks. By the way I'm glad to for once not see racial comments. Youtube is riddled with nasty, ignorant, fuckheads.

  • One of my favorite videos. Simply awesome!

  • where is that vinyl from?

  • Dude that was soooooo good. That was so excenntly put together. a lot of dj's are so.. unorganized when the play (for lack of a better word). haha but that was sweet

  • good fuckin on ya mate. For starters you beat me to the ableton live turntable mixed with live looping. i really wanted to try it but didnt know where to start. Also, ive been looking for that fuckin album forever! the one where you scratch in the AW YEAH! whats the name of that? The Stompdown Killaz feature a video of a guy scratching that same sample...

very fresh shit, all producers can definately learn somethin from this concept.

  • brilliant layering of samples

  • Damn that's dope! Love the beat, and the sample!

  • Whoa, this was pretty cool!

I've only gotten into electronic music and rap recently and I've been wondering about something, maybe you could help me.

Is this a "routine" you practice or do you improvise most of it? Either way, I think it's brilliant.

    Keep it up

btw: what were you using the midi footcontroller for?

  • so good, what kind of turntables are those?

  • @tiffuhny the only kind of turntables, technics sl-1200. i take it you haven't been into this for very long. after a while if you see the square start/stop button you will be able to recognize these immediately. you know how countries have official languages? well the official language of turntablism is the technics sl-1200.

  • friggin sweet, I would pay you to show me how to set that up..lol...I'm currently using Allen/Heath Xone3d, and cdj400's, but just got a trigger finger and trying to figure how to incorporate it..arg..i'm technically behind.

  • sweet as a nut

  • i shit my ass.

  • i shit my ass.

  • Sexy scratchbox. <3

  • awesome

  • This is insane. Seriously insane. Same question as BouOscar, though; how do you wire your turntables into ableton?

  • Dope !

How do you hook up your turntables and mixer

    to ableton?

  • This is truly what Ableton Live was made for!

  • aaawesome man

  • I saw your video on YouTube here and was wondering if you can help me get my foot peddle working? I have the same one you do in the video... I want to do the same thing you are doing.

  • excellent utilization of ableton

I produce a different genre of music

but I can appreciate the difficulty in creating this track as I see it in front of my eyes.

Very good workflow man-- Get stuff mastered and start sending discs out .

  • i honestly don't like techno stuff. But seeing you do your thing really impress me.. It's take a real talent to "compose" such an arrangement.. well done~

  • damn. great job. if this is unfinished i would like to see what the finished is...how do you chose your samples?? im really liking the style

  • damn i'm just wowed cause of this

  • I watched this many many times, It always angers me to see your beatpad because I could have gotten the same one, but I cheaped out and got w/o sliders and display (BIG mistake). I might have posted something on here already, but I just wanted to make sure I let you know you are freakn' talented and If if you ever come to Cincinnati, I will hug you and demand Dj tips. (I don't even care if you don't like hugs, I mean, I don't like them. But thats how awesome I think you are)

  • @Aleksux

I'm going to start vlogging soon.

This time it will be on a regular basis with a tips and tricks section included.

    Stay tuned.

  • @Aleksux theres only like 4 faders on that thing anyway. you could easily pick yourself up a korg nanokontrol with 9 faders and knobs,

  • This if off the chart!!!!

  • @LivinNostalgia

sadly, there are no decent scratchable mixers/turntables that cost less than 500... at least... you CAN scratch on a turntable as long as it's direct drive, but it;s much harder.
