Star Wars Crawl howto in Movie Maker

I have windows 7 and I can't find a lot of the effects on the new WMM

for example, the scroll effect makes it scroll up, and not inward.

Do you know how to fix this?

@Quinlan67 Simply lenghten the time of the crawl text in video maker. since the same amount of text will be shown during a longer amount of time, hence the speed at which the text is shown is slowed.

hey thanks for the help! I was really getting frustrated not being able to find any real helpful info on how to do this.. I wasnt able to get the scroll perspective option.. it seems the version I am using is very different from every other version Ive seen instructions for and it doesnt have that option... I made it work though! thanks!

when you open title first time you are very limited, but if you press done and open it again to edit, you can write practicaly what ever you want

I do this and the scrolling text on mine doesn't look as tilted back as it does on yours. It almost looks like it's just scrolling and not getting smaller as it rises. Any suggestions?

You have to make sure you have downloaded and installed the Jedi Hollow font (you can find it through google), and make sure you have selected it for step 2.

@TheOnlyDoor no, but you can do it in pivot beta 3. its a free program and is very good!

type in on google starry background and choose one that suits you. and right click and press `save photo as.' then save to ure desktop. then go to movie maker. and press import pictures and click the starry picture. then wen u make ure title... press on the selected clip.

@TheOnlyDoor Yes there is a way to gets stars. 1st go to google and fined some stars and save.

2nd put it in movie maker then make it longer then do the title "on the selected clip" then you've done it

This is one of those things which you should be beaten for not knowing how to do it. All you have to do is change the text animation on your opening credits. Who is too dumb to figure that out?

how did you get so much text into the crawl text? it barely lets me use 1 and a half lines and then i have to use the next box.

@jidar I know how to do that infact if you put in star wars crawl on WMM it will come up by legostarwars71.

You used the SW crawl title thingy didn't you just like me although here is a problem.

You can only fit around three words in one line where as in the films it fitted around 8.
