  • Definately more like John Cena

  • he looks more like John Cena.

  • haha yes, took 10 minutes watching this guy, and really like Mark Wahlberg

  • Is this good for beginners to do or should one build up to this?

  • this guy looks like mark wahlberg.. john cena.. and matt damon lol, must be awesome to look like 3 different guys >.<

  • this guy is awesome. Really motivational, positive, helpful videos.

  • jesus use more back... honestly pretty bad technique, he's curling it up more with his forearms than using his traps. I wouldn't use this video to learn how to hang clean.

  • your right its not not its traditionally done but i guess this variation is better for bodybuilding purposes.

  • shut up he didnt use his back at all watch it again. look at his result they speak for them selves theres alway one bitch like you pointing shit like that out

  • Why not just do cleans from the floor?

  • hes all about variation and confusion... tryin to put out somthing unique i guess.

  • @davidbarnett2 prevents plateau, your very correct.

  • AHHH I love it! :D

  • lmao man this guy is great. "aah i love it", hes so positive even though it probably hurts a little

  • Hey, pain is good

  • markkk wahlbergg!!!

    markkk wahlbergg!!!!

    markkk wahlbergg!!!!

    markkk wahlbergg!!!!

  • agreed

  • great stuff man.. working my way up to that.. slowly, but i'm getting there

  • cleanss ..

  • AARGGHHHHHH great video... AAARGGGHHH lol

  • Seems good... hav to give a try... Thanks yoo!!

  • isn't muscle confusion B.S.? SOme of ur competition out there like steve turano from Body performance TV, says all u need is to lift intensely, with heavy weight, and create calorie deficit, with a well balanced diet, he claims u will still grow and look good.

  • pretty much. muscle confusion is only good if it's included as part of your programming. say you're doing regular bench press for a few weeks (4 maybe), then next 4 do dumbell presses. It's the same basic exercise but hits the muscle a little different. THAT's the kind of muscle confusion you should be going for.

  • i see, i dont do alot of these exercise darren shows, because it looks like ur focusing more on balance than pure intensity. The power clean in this video is good tho. I do brazilian jiu jitsu, and boxing, i gett a totaly body workout from that alone, then i lift weights and apply my new gained strength from weight lifting , to my grappling and striking skills

  • yes thats right you shouldnt be changing from bench press to something like a push up hanging from the pull up bar.

  • well i actually no its no bs. i learned that when i was a beginner. cuz when ur a beginner with almost no muscle mass u grow very fast but sooner or later u hit a plateau and wonder what is worng the problem is ur muscles are used to the workout so u need to experiemnt with different workouts to keep muscles confused so they have to adapt and get stronger and bigger.

  • doesn't really work for me, yeah i change my workouts once in a blue, but i'm constantly getting stronger, i've worked out for a long time, and now i got my routine down pat, i just work out intensely and do BJJ an boxing, i don't look that great cause i eat whatever i want but man am i strong.

  • Do you still wrestle???

    J/K.. J/K...

Thanks for the tips.. great vids..

  • More vids!

  • ur awesome Darin :D

  • This basically a hang clean, which is a must to master if you ever have a interest in doing power cleans or clean & jerks in the future. Though his form is great it's better if you let your elbows go little higher so the bar can rest on your shoulders.

    Anyway Nice Vid :)

  • This exercise seems to train your M. brachioradialis as well. Like hammer curls.

  • it's only a bicep exercise if you're doing it wrong by reverse curling it up.....

if you do it right, it's mostly hips and traps

  • i do those in a different way.. i just lift it but not explosively and i keep me elbows above the bar. and i use the that "zigzag bar" .. don'T know the name . sorry.

ok so i guess you would suggest youre type of exercise more ..? why would you do so

  • In English ez-bar.

    Auf Deutsch sz-bar.

Aber frage mich nicht, wofür die Abkürzungen stehen. Ich konnte das noch nirgends finden.

  • the exersize i think you are talking about is upright rows and the bar is an ez curl bar.

  • yubb .. thanks a lot..

    that's what i ment :D

    upright rows with an ez-bar

  • & also, 5*.. of course!!

  • thx for the exercise tip! U r the man!

  • Thanks!!
