Hi Vanda Hadarean was my old coach at tumblers i still see her at the gym!!! she is awesome and she is making my floor routine for my upcoming competition im so excited!!
I'm not sure what to think of this routine. Her flexibility, extension, and toe-point are first rate, perhaps the best of the entire competition (her and Grudneva IMO). But her tumbling was a little weak (especially the first pass with the shuffle on the landing) and there were times I got the impression that she was chasing the music. Who knows, perhaps she was almost too limber and flexible for this type of routine. She's still my favourite Romanian gymnast of the early 1990s.
I agree, Vanda Hadarean's leg line and toe point were amazing, her form in her dance and on BB...so nice to watch and yeah there is a fine balance between flexibility-strength that lets gymnasts down sometimes...
Dunno if it was the most underscored - she did take a tiny shuffle at the end of the full twist, and didn't get her leg up high after the back layout stepout - but she was in my opinio, by far - the best dancer, and the most beautiful compulsory fx
@TuesdayPillow: I beg to differ on the dancing bit - check out Andreea Raducan's routine at the 1999 Worlds (totally in sync with the music and great expression). And how about Ana Porgras?

I KNEW there was a floor routine somewhere that used Paganini's 2nd concerto. Haha I found it!

This was by far the most UNDERSCORED exercize in that entire competition! She was really close to perfect!

One of the best compulsory routines of the Olympics and probably the last good Romanian dancer.
