I have watched the review on both pes an d fifa, and I can tell you without a doubt that Gamespot must recieve incentives to lean towards fifa. I am a big fan of both,but if you watch the two reviews, you can see that the negatives of pes still remain in the fifa series also. Pes is disgusting online, but fifa still haven't made any attempt to improve gameplay on the pitch where it matters most. I will, and always, buy both games, but please Gamespot, don't think people are stupid!!

i always liked pes more than purely because of the older series of games like ISS pro 98 and pes 1, because it was a game, whereas fifa was aiming at the realism factor. the older pes and iss games focused on the fluidity of the the gameplay itself, rather than the names of teams and players, i mean who cares if roberto carlos is called roberto larcos? i think that PEs should go back to the way it was and just be a great , yet simple game again.

i agree, pro evo 4 was the best football game ever made but pro need to keep up with the times. people r getting annoyed with the bad presentation etc. But to be honest both fifa and pro have been dissapointing because the tackle system in both games give the computer the advantage every time. pro doesnt have enough clubs either. fifa r getting better its just the gameplay that still needs a few treaks. Pro cant survive much longer with gameplay alone cos fifa r catching them in that area.

gamespot is fucking biased towards fifa,they should rate pro evo games depending on the way it has improved upon previous mechanics(same goes for fifa),but instead they compare it with fifa on forefronts in which fifa has a better footing

yeh but everyone compares fifa and pro to each other and pro need to try harder to improve cos fifa have got much better now. pro 2008 was poor and fifa 08 and 09 have been decent but both games need large improvements or maybe we the gamers expect too much from football games that will take years to improve

if u know in detail about pro evos mechanics u would know that pro evo is better in a fewimportant things like the manual pass,shot these r stuff in which u will have to aim or pass manually & player stats dont count,it creates a posibility in which any player can pull of a spectacular goal or assist(& these r not random & give a sense of unpedictability)using right analog stick,in pro evo every star player moves & functions differently(even free kicks look different),& there many such things

konami used to make the best soccer games during the ps1 & n64 era & the only reason why fifa came on the global chart was bcoz it developed an intiutive way play soccer on a keyboard & got monopoly in pc soccer since 98,& due to its sucess & the fact that ea as a whole has risen to great heights,fifa has bcom the high production valued game(with affiliation),but they have spent enough money & time on the game mechanics(physics is not everything),& still dont have the star stats like pe

they have copied a lot from pe like player development graphs & be a pro mode but still dont have a lot of things.cmon in pe every player runs,dribbles & shoots differently & the variety of shots which can b made for the same ball is amazing(dont go by command list there is a lot more there for pros)& so simply said pe is the better tweaked version of soccer on any platform & i m astonished how gamespot missed this one out

Also think about it games like saints row will be compared to GtA so pro will be compared with fifa and to be honest they have mentioned improvements. Also game trailers are better reviewers then gamespot

i mean, just play the be a pro mode and the become a legend and you'll see the big difference...

PES USED to be the best soccer game back in WE9.... today, FIFA is beyond any doubt THE BEST soccer experience....

FIFA also has more licenced teams and leagues, something that PES never had

i was a massive pro evo fan and had no time for fifa, but since next gen hit fifa has kept improving and pro ev has, if anything, gone backwards. The differences between pro ev 08 and 09 were minimal, konami really need to get their act together.

pro 09 graphics are so nice, they are really realistic, but the game just gets boring.

fifa on the other hand is really fun, and the skills are mad, the graphics aren't better then pes, but still amazing.

I think fifa won by far this year, and online mode on pro evo sucks! there's no point of playing online, it lags a lot.

fifa online is great, smooth and slick.

I've always loved pes more then fifa, but I have to admit, this year, i like fifa much more.
