  • Whoever said that shit about the schecters either bought the cheap ass model or is lying. My hellraiser was literally perfect out of the box and NEVER yet, after a year, have I had one problem with the guitar or the Floyd, not one.

  • I have 2 Schecters and both sound and play great, one with active and one with passive pickups. I do want an LTD though. Might go for the V-300 when I can. I really like the white finish. Nice playing though.

  • looks like a hell raiser a little

  • This guitar is the best ive owned...not only does it melt faces! But sounds pretty damn good playin blues in the right hands, great vid!

  • H = Horizon?

  • if ur gonna demonstrate a guitar at least know how to play one first -_-

  • @jgjuliopr1 What's wrong with how he played? it's impossible to please people on Youtube.

  • THIS IS NOW xD

  • damn how many esp/ltd viper do you need?! i see like 4 in the background hahaha.... well never mind, you can never have tooooo many guitars even if they are the same modle and brand

  • SHUT UP ALL OF THEM THEY ALL COPIED FENDER SO JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!!!!

  • @BrujoAsesino123

Shape-wise they pretty much copied Fender, of course. But sound-wise, they are Gibson copies. Every guitar with humbuckers is essentially derived from a Gibson; they invented the humbucker in the 50's.

  • HATEBREED!!!!

  • Schecter omen

  • FCUK YEAH PLAYING SO TOUGH!! OWPQKDOPAKDOPK I WANAN DESTROY EVERYTHIGN BLAGHHH

    T__T ....

  • What is song?

  • Yeah, don't forget that schecter is made by ESP =)

  • how do these pickups fair with say, EMG 81 pickups for metal?

  • This may be a silly question but can the Seymour Duncan version play blues?

  • can you tell me if the H and MH deluxe series are the same neck?or do they play or sound different from each other?thanks man keep the vids coming.great stuff

  • schecter has copied many things from other people. and this doesn't look like and esp

  • @irnman1120 esp too.All esp products are copies from other brands.Ex is explorer,Ax a warlock bc rich,Ec is Lp gibson, kiko sign is hamer california, phoenix is gibson thunderbird,Sv is RR jackson, lynch sign is slt1 soloist, vintage plus is fender strat, horizon is jackson soloist, viper is gibson sg,Te is fender tele, horizon III is jackson demon, throbber is peavey wolfang. so PLEASE guys, stop being silly. In guitar world almost noone is immaculate, everyone copies something from others.

  • @taxo

I never said anything about the relation of ESP and any other brand then Schecter...

By the way; ESP's Horizon bodyshape is pretty original. Of course it's actually based of a Stratocaster body shape. If you look at it that way, the only two really original body shapes are the Stratocaster and Les Paul; all others are "copies" (Not including Explorers and other fancy shapes.)

ESP is still the original designer of the Horizon bodyshape...

  • @Behindspace90 you sure? there are tons of brands out there using the same shape,it sounds a bit weird to me that they are all esp-inspired...and that's a very soloist similar shape anyway...the headstock is similar too.. noone 's here to say that esp make awful instrument,i played horizon many times and that's definitely a killer instrument (maybe a little pricey for a top veneered guitar, while Carvin for the same price give you a total customized instrument with real maple top,but this doesn't

  • @Behindspace90 this doesn't affect the sound that much). It's just a matter that too many times i heard ESP guys talking shit about schecter, jackson, ibanez, without even considering the esp catalog itself and how esp instruments are often superawesome copies of many others.I mean,i don't like Ibanez at all,but the rg shape sounds unique to me..same for schecter ultra, atx,s series, tempest and so on..

  • @taxo I personally love Jackson, I'm not a ESP-only fanboy.

But Jackson just copied their bodyshapes from Fender. The Dinky body is a 7/8 scale copy of a Strat, which was statet by Jackson itself...

And Ibanez started out as a company that exclusively produced copies from many guitars. The RG is everything but original. It's just another Strat copy...

And whit regards to Schecter; they just plain "copied" the ESP shape. Which is no problem since they are/were owned by the same person.

  • @Behindspace90 Jackson used the body profile by leo fender and built the soloist type guitar.I mean,in those year the strat shape was one of the few created for an electric guitar...considering the present, all the brands are in a sense copying each other..now,if you see a thin and sharp shaped guitar, you think of RGs (or agile,ok)..All guitars are based on the original Strat-tele-LP styles, but some brands developed those styles, some didn't imho..Look at japanese esp! Tons of weird styles..i gues

  • @Behindspace90 i guess esp designers coul easily create some innovative guitar styles and sell them all over the world, without using pre existent ones...about the 2010 H series which are indeed hellraiser schecters...i dunno, maybe a really smart marketing action that i can't get...maybe something like "want a cool emg guitar? get a hellraiser! or get a ltd H deluxe! it's the same, they're both mine"

  • @taxo

The only question companies ask themselves is: does it make me money; yes or no?

Obviously ESP has sold many guitars and makes a good profit "copying" existing bodyshapes, so I don't blame them at all for doing that. Apart from the looks; they set themselves apart by using great (!) hardware and having good quality guitars.

The same goes for the Hellraiser and Horizon; if they both sell well, why wouldn't they do it?

  • @Behindspace90 totally agree man.I Just can't stand so many fanboys talking silly about brands "your company copies, mine not" and so on,that was the reason for my message ;) Btw i don't get why schecter and esp always claim not to have anything in common each other...schecter consider itself detached from schecter japan(which guitar are produced in esp CS,and you can clearly see considering that some models have esp inlays)...why this choice?what's your opinion?

  • @taxo except an h-1000 kicks a hellraisers ass

  • @tommyparadiso1122351 they are made in the same factory by the same people ,but sure man,as u wish.I don't expect much froma ESP fan, they are all the same i guess you know

  • @taxo well if you actually knew the guitars you would know there are differences. hellraisers are heavier due to a 3 peice mahogany neck. h-1000 are much less cumbersome and top heavy because of it's maple neck. also hellraisers use emg 81/89s, h-1000s use 81/85. plus a good hellraisers are $1,069 h-1000s are $799

  • @tommyparadiso1122351 Yep,there are difference of course, since shibuya is the president of both companies and get money from both would be nonsense to make exactly the same instruments.I just said they look the same ;) which is important i guess.Btw yeah they sound different too,i bought the hella cuz i found the H to be a lil harsh TO ME,but it's a matter of preference. Oh anyway dunno where you found hellas for 1k+$,but on drumcity they cost way less !:D

  • @taxo i see your point, if people buy for looks thats up to them and i admit they do look similar. but i go sound quality first which is why i choose esp, i personally prefer eclipses. but if you like schecters thats up to you. btw on schecters website hellraiser c-1's are 1069 but i found one at guitar center for 900

  • @tommyparadiso1122351 eclipse is the only ltd i'd buy because of the wood it's made of,all mahogany,it sounded fatter and chunkier than mh/h moldels i tried, that's a really nice axe! Yeah on schecter ws you see 1069,but that's the suggested price.which is higher for everything you can buy in the world..it's the price the manifacturer suggest for selling the stuff :D on drumcity you can see the msrp and the actual price compared

  • @taxo yea i love the eclipse models they do great in all the genres i play. btw though they do have a maple top, still awesome though

  • @tommyparadiso1122351 yeah I'd buy a eclupse anyday instead of a standard gibson :D

  • @taxo Actually the eclipse and the mh models have the same wood... mahogany body with maple top. Both with maple necks too if I recall correctly.

  • @TBMsGuitarGod IIRC ec series is loaded with mahogany neck...that beauty is massive

  • comparing h1001 to mh1000, which one's better?

  • @darren0512341 do you want a floyd rose or through body construction? it all depends on what you prefer man.

  • which is a better guitar from ESP for playing hardcore and deathcore? this one, or the ec1000?

  • @slavesbydesign Ec1000 is very confortable and slim. I've played it once in the store its very clean sounding and with distortion is a wall of crunch fantastic.. But Mh-1000 beat it by hardcore 1000times Look up one of the mh-1000 you would be surprized

  • @spik3yKid11 thank you for your insight i have looked up the mh1000 and it sounds great, but i still feel like the ec1000 is better for what i want to do. I'm only judging by youtube videos though and i've never gotten in the store to play them for awhile, only an ec1000 for a few minutes.

  • @slavesbydesign mh-1000 are made for pure metal lmao.. Any esp guitar is.

  • @slavesbydesign i got the same problem, lol, i play PWD a lot soo idk, they use both 0.0!

  • @slavesbydesign ec1000. Mahogany neck,fatter sound.

  • @slavesbydesign both are great. this is better for lead (emg 81/85) ec is better for rhythm (emg 81/60). really either will do though

  • How is it "deluxe" when you don't even have EMG's on it?

Hell, the guitar is supposed to come with EMG's. Fail.

  • @SicSociophobiac your a noob :)

  • @SicSociophobiac Uh, no it's not. Way to make yourself look dumb.

  • @VHTLtdDimarzio

Uh, yeah it is. Go to MF right now and order one. Its even in the fucking description. "With EMG's"

  • @VHTLtdDimarzio Not all of them. Go look at ESPs website. It has Duncan's in one H1001 version and EMGs in the other.

  • amp not loud enough

  • Have one more white guitar to complete the whole set :D

  • what's the difference between an ltd H, and the MH?

  • they are different body styles. The H stands for Horizon and the M is Mirage I believe.

  • @godlikecharacta the guitar model hehe i think :s

  • what amp were you using?? sounds pretty epic

  • white guitars? hahaha.

  • Comment removed

  • @viola0shredder I don't understand that.I have owned( unfortunately) a couple of schecters, and every one of them was junk and was immediately returned.ESP's ply and sound so much better-and the quality-don't get me started.I bought a nice hell raiser, when I took it out of the box,the volume nob fell off and the nut on the neck wasn't even glued down-it was held in place by the strings.wow.

  • @MrThcpcplsd

haha that was a year ago when I was a fanboy at everything. The guitar is still a great guitar, but i found a Sterling by Music Man (yes STERLING) that sounds better than the damn schecter. im looking for some idiot to pay a whole lot for the guitar and buy other shit with the money. As i have learned, most of the ltd 4 and even 300's play as good as that guitar. i was an idiot

  • @viola0shredder i think esp guitars a built a bit better and sound a bit nicer, well put it this way, id take a flamed maple neck over a mahogany

  • @viola0shredder ye but shecter dosnt have many guitars with emg 81, 85 or 60

  • @crash12512

i wish my guitar didnt have those anymore. i need some bkp's if yoju play two guitars on medium gain, one active, one passive, anyone with a good sense of tone would pick the passives.

  • hatebreed!

  • nice collection of white guitars in the back :P

  • I want one :D

  • that sounds like HATEBREED am i right????

  • @BurnedFaceShreder

This Is Now by Hatebreed, right.

  • i want a horizon so bad....

  • what amp used?

  • Very Good just what Guitar do u thinks the best out of the Deluxes and EC's ect.?

  • sounds like something decapitated would make, but with a less brutal tone.

  • you kinda play in my style. I was looking at this guitar in the same color, it sure sounds nice, and is that a gibson sg on your rack there? Love my SG

  • i love this guitar!

  • Comment removed

  • So i dont get to see the headstock?

  • Is it just me or does that look like a Schecter Hellraiser rip off. (still a badass guitar though)

  • @PtGuitarist

Haha, it's the other way around. Esp has had the Horizon body shape from the beginning. Shecter allmost exactly copied it.

  • @Behindspace90 Schecter and ESP are both owned by the same guy anyway.

  • @numberonejrio

Since 1986 Schecter is owned by ESP. But still ESP came first with the Horizon bodyshape.

It's kind of the same thing as the Jackson Soloist and the Charvel Model 6. (Allthough I'm sure which one of those 2 guitars came first).

  • @Behindspace90 that's not true. The guys that own Schecter are the guys that started ESP....They sold the ESP company to someone else and went off and started Schecter.

  • @6XstringXsamurai

What are you trying to say? The current owners of Schecter are the same owners as ESP. ESP never started Schecter; they bought the company. ESP has had the same owners for the past couple of years for all I know. Maybe they changed owners some long time ago, but right now ESP and Schecter are owned by the same people.

  • @Behindspace90 too bad Schecter and ESP are owned by the same guy.

  • @mwiguitar62

Your point being? Read the third page of the comments on here, and check my last comment. I allready stated they are currently owned by the same people. :)

  • Comment removed

  • @Behindspace90 and they're made in the same factories overseas ;)

  • @Behindspace90 ESP owns Schecter dumbass.

  • @scotty688

Where did I state that Esp did NOT own Schecter? If you would have read my other comments on this video, you would have noticed this has been discussed thoroughly, and you would have also noticed that this is exactly what I already stated.

So nice going, Sherlock, you've truly enlightened me with your common sense.

  • @Behindspace90 "Schecter almost exactly copied it" excuse me, but that sounds like you are referring that ESP don't own Schecter. Oh, and why would I look back pages just to see if you're okay, you know... maybe you redeemed yourself? fuck it.

  • @scotty688

Hey, go ahead and keep being a smart ass, dude, I don't care. And why couldn't Schecter have copied it from ESP? Copying doesn't require for two companies to be separated from each other. Epiphones are copies from Gibson guitars, Squiers are Copies from Fender guitars.

And why would you look back? No reason, really. Why would you come here and call me a dumbass, acting like you know all about it? No reason either. Don't be so agressive, in the end you lose anyways. Ergo.

  • @Behindspace90 Nice meeting you. Technically they're not copies, if the mother company designed the guitar and the sub company use the design it can't be copied, if it was copied that would mean they can't use the name 'Stratocaster' or 'Les Paul' the only way any guitar comnpany would get away with copying a name is if the guitar is the actual real thing.

  • @scotty688

I would love to see the legal sources of all of the statements you just made. ;-)

I'll save you the effort; for something to be copied, it's not required that there is ANY connection between the companies, nor is the given name relevant.

Also, in my first post I'm clearly talking about the body SHAPE, not even the name. So once again; this is a copy.

You're talking about whether or not it's an illegal copy or not, which is a whole other story. I never said anything about that.

  • @Behindspace90 Why does this make me want to stick my dick in a blender. I know that the companies don't need connections, what I'm saying is that Epiphones, Squiers etc are the real thing. You don't buy an Epiphone Les Paul then tell someone you brought a Les Paul copy, it's the real thing.. on the other hand if you buy some cheap Chinese import that's got some cheap brand name and no relation to the mother company, that's when it's a copy.

  • @scotty688

Once again, you're are talking about a fake, or an illegal copy. That's not what I was referring to. It's a whole other discussion.

If you bought an Epiphone LP, you've bought a Gibson LP copy. It would be a fake or an illegal copy if you bought a crappy guitar that is specifically made to trick people into thinking it's the real deal.

A regular "copy" doesn't have to be illegal, it can still be the real deal. Are you a criminal if you photocopy a drawing on a piece of paper? No.

  • @Behindspace90 esp bought schecter so there the same shit now lol

  • @FifeXeno

You know, I'm starting to hate that my comment was top rated lol. You are probably the 20th person who responds to this, not having read my other posts, where I say that Schecter and ESP are indeed owned by the same persons right now. This however does not mean Schecter didn't copy the Horizon design from ESP. :) I don't blame you for not reading them though! They are probably on page 10 by now or so lol. :p

  • @Behindspace90 lol your probably right

  • @Behindspace90 ESP and schecter are owned by same guy retard.

  • @rockshow256

This is getting old. Read my older comments where I already talked about this before calling me a retard, little guy with a temper.

And besides; of course both companies are owned by the same persons, but that doesn't change the fact that Schecters body shape is still copied from the Esp body shape. Is that really so hard to understand?

  • It's just ESP's EC-1000 but with that shape body and different pickups, notice that? But it does, who knows though.

  • @PtGuitarist The owner of ESP owns Schecter. He can copy as much as he want.

  • don't really like the binding on the deluxe-models, but everything else is just top-notch (Y)

  • :DDDDDDDDD

  • this is complete nu-metal shit!!!!!!!!! what a waste of a good guitar.

  • kinda looks like a schecter c1 hellraiser. nice job

  • True that. Looking at the video and not the title some would probably think it IS a Schecter C-1 Hellraiser but in my opinion.. any smart guitarist would know NOT to put those pickups on a Schecter. Throw on some EMG's ;)

  • Amen =)

  • Any smart guitarist would know that EMG's have no character or crunch compared to seymour duncans

  • It's more of a personal choice.

  • dunkans are good for clean as soon as you drop the guitar and put heavy distortion they start sounding like a 50s ford truck with no exaust... EMGs all the way

  • Dude, all those ESPs, Ibanez, Schecters, are you like in some huge band or something? What do you do for a living I want in.

  • probably works in a music store

  • He probably OWNS the music store.

  • hi jeserty, this song is from Hatebreed. It's called " this is now "

  • Nice H1000 STBC, may I have your serialnumber? There are only few cockstock out there and nearly no one has the STBC version.

  • I have one im trying to sell my friend hit me upp!

  • u sure its a cockstock?, i only see the high E tuning machine

  • It has to be a cockstock, because H1001 are not available in STBC and MH1000 STBC do not have tuners on this side on the headstock. Simple as that ^_^

  • ya ure right

  • its not a cockstock.

  • First of all, every H1000 has a cockstock, second there are no H1001 with this finish.

  • i could send you a pic

  • I would love to see a H1001 STBC with black hardware and Sperzel locking tuners.

  • i ment a h1000 that doesn't have a cockstock.

That is if you know when people refer to a cockstock they dont mean the jackson like point head stock

  • H1000 = cockstock (every H1000 has it),

    H1001 = new headstock,

MH1000 = pointy headstock with tuners on one side.

Wanna see some pics? GOOGLE it!

  • @suckit69er It is a cockstock, Black Cherry was one of the first colours to be made. You can see the tuning pegs on boths sides as well, so yes it is a cockstock.

  • @suckit69er

    Can I see your cockstock?

  • @suckit69er

    Is it big and veiny?

  • yes. yes it is.

  • THIS IS NOW!

  • NOW!!!!!!!

  • ahhhhhhhhhhh! i cant think of what song that is.its on the tip of my brain

  • awesome guitar dude. i have the see thru amber one with the seymour duncan's and i'm thinking about swapping them out with emg's :0)

  • Hell no let the duncans in your mh they give your ltd en own sound not like emg shit its sounds like every fucking guitar dude..... i Love the duncans and i have the same ltd deluxe buy yourselfe a new amp or something to get more sound ^^

  • Nice dude but where you play the first fret in the beginning of the riff try playing the 3rd fret instead. It sounds more correct in my opinion

  • gr8 playing man, but WTF, how many guitars do u have? O.o O.o

  • that's one badass guitar man

  • Currently selling my own: Black ESP H-1000 Deluxe with EMG pickups. I don't play as often as I used to anymore and it's time to get rid of some of the guitars. Send me a message if you're interested. They don't make em' anymore and I wish I wouldn't have to sell it but you have to do what you have to do.

  • @ TheScribbler:

shut the fuck up you intolerant faggot and let people listen to whatever they want!

  • actually i think this comment should be aimed at the guy right below thescribbler... in which case i agree with you

  • I think it's a little offensive to comment on someones video, tell him his style of music is crap and suggest playing a different style. It's a matter of taste an opinion really, nobody can say what music is or isn't good. He probably does appreciate those bands, as most people who listen to metal do, I think you just need to keep an open mind about this music. No disrespect intended, comments like that just bother me a bit.

  • i agree...also there is nothing wrong with playing rhythm instead of "solos" which most people think are shredding the crap out of a fret board...some of the most simple solos in history have been in my opinion on some of the best songs out there...i myself am a rhythm player and he just helped me figure out if i want that guitar or not...what good is it to listen to someone shred when i go into the upper registers of a guitar maybe 2 time out of 10?

    Great Video btw =D

  • who the fuck are you to judge this dudes playing and style?...ACDC/OZZY OSBOURNE? You have to be I say 45 going on 50..Do the world a favor and go suck a dick and shut the fuck up...

  • Exelent dude but may i ask you what you do in life to have at least 6 ltd guitar ???

  • He steals them xD!
