I wondering if that Older Apple Wireless Keyboard that you have on the right side of the screen works with PC(Windows XP) using a Blue Tooth Dongle? I just really prefer the look of the older model
yes. mac is just so stubborn that they will lie just to get a sale. actually Microsoft updated its drivers on most computers so it can read mac keyboard software.
How did you get the keyboard to pair using windows? I've tried every other walk through and guide I could find and I couldn't find a way to pair it to xp professional... works on OS X fine, any suggestions?
Yes, I did get the wired one. I am using it with my iMac. I like it a lot cuz my other older Apple Wireless Keyboard is too bulky. I only wish Apple had made it wireless as well (for the new wired).
Agreed! Apple is genius. I have this keyboard. Right out of the box I had it running in less than a minute. I love apple. I have a beautiful black macbook.
I purchased one of these to run on a system using vista home premium, using a bluetake BT usb adapter, like gadgetjunkiedothk video shows, it works perfectly fine right out of the box. Just set up your BT adapter, drop in the keyboard batteries, turn it on, link it, and your done.
To get the function keys to work you have to put in a bit more effort, namely download a program that allows you to remap the keys. I used a free program called sharpkeys.

So when the Apple website says "Minimum Requirements: Mac Computer w/ Bluetooth" that's a lie?
Will it work w/ xp?
