@A1MaxJones It probably would be best if you looked up information on it online, as the story behind it has been told in more detail than I could go into here. It's a supergroup kind of compilation album consisting of then contemporary versions of '60's songs. That's just a very brief summary.

Not really a band - just a collection of members from the Bangles, Dream Syndicate and one or two other bands from the mid-80s.
Thanks for posting - having heard this song in ten years! If Flying on the Ground is Wrong was also a great tune from that album.

Thanks so much for posting this. I heard Susanna Hoffs' version of this song a few years ago and fell in love with it. I just wish the album was still in print and not so massively expensive!
