I sort of agree with @gingervampireFTW ... I mean, the original should be more respected than the Glee version. Then again, I figure, just let the gleeks enjoy this. The only issue I have with this is the context. I mean, this song is about the childhood, teen years and all the personal stories of those 17 dancers, not Rachel and What'shisface... so I dunno about using this song.

Why do people think this is good? I've got nothing against the people singing, but they just butchered a great broadway show tune for me. I'm trying to find the original version of this song and I can't because everyone keeps posting this crap. Seriously, try looking for the original song, and this comes up. I hate how Glee tries to modernize songs that weren't ment to be modernized. Seriously, I hate it.

i feel like, what i did for love from a chorus line was amazing (leas cover obvs.) but when you take out mark and connies solos in Hello12Hello13HelloLove it just doesnt work. and the voices and music make the song too poppy. which, its not. o.o

Personally, I don't like Glee doing Chorus Line, it feels like they're cheapening the caliber of the show. This cover is awful. It cuts out all of the angst and meaning behind the song. Idk, I always think it's either a hit or a miss with Glee covers. This one was a miss for me, by far.

They cut it cause it wouldn't make sense for them to sing this in a library. In the song has a feel that they were growing up and wanting to have sex, Jesse and Rachel were meeting for the first time, this song wouldn't make sense with the plot of them meeting.
