@ocremix if im not mistaken, the point of an Oc remix is take a classic and remix it, not to mimic it, but to remix it into something original while still keeping the classic concept in mind. correct me if im wrong.

@ocremix I usually like the remixes that deviate quite a bit from the original, but that's not really what I intend to listen. ;-)

@ocremix Actually, I'm aware of that. I just think some video game music pieces lose their identity in the process of remixing, and for me, the whole point of listening to these remixes is not to listen to a song based in a video game song, but instead, to listen to a remastering of a video game song with minor structure changes. I always like when the remixes provide a sense of nostalgia, and for that to happen, the original songs can't be radically changed. (continues in another comment)
