Frankly speaking Ma Lin is history as a top 5 in the world. In the last two years he hasn´t been playing as a top 5 any more. But he´s been one of them for a decade long. Now, he isn´t that good any more. This is the transition of a new era in his brilliant career. I really doubt that Ma Long has played at 100%. But Ma Lin fully deserves these homage attitudes from Ma Long, the Chinese Federation and Chinese Government. He shouldn´t be pressed to play as a top 5. Let him live a quieter live now.
