  • Very nicely done, inspires me to pick my ukulele up again. Please tell me where you found the tabs for this song or how you learned it.

  • Thanks. Yes, pick your uke again as I did last year!

I did not use any tabs at all for this. I had video tapes of his playing, one of which you can find on YT. I copied it through ears and eyes.

FYI, the intro starts with C6(3342),C6(7575),C6(3342),Em7(5344),CM7(2000),C(3000),C6(0000),B7+5(2332)......

  • thx much, back to the uke for me

  • Cool! Looking forward to your uke vids!

  • Thanks for your comment, Bread.

  • um, THIS WAS DELIGHTFUL!

  • Thank you! I reckon you have some nice voice!

  • Your are joking when you say your playing is poor, it's great, (Ukeroll UU)

  • Ukeroll, thanks for your comment here as well as there. People say I am too modest :D

  • Very nice touch. I just saw Ohta-San live for the first time and was really impressed with his double thumb picked arpeggios and that tick tock rhythm thing he does where he scrapes the frets with his nail. Keep it up man!

  • Glad you liked it. Yeah I practice his percussion alogn with that nail scraping thing, but I gave it up as I didn't want to break my uke.

This soprano uke has dimples because of that :)

  • .wOW! This is wonderful!!

    CHEERS!!!

  • Thaks for watching. I like you username :)

  • Great!

  • Thank you for your compliment.

  • Truly amazing! you play so well you'd make an rubber-band uke sound good in a tin shed

  • Thank you very much. This thumb picking/strumming style has become a habit, which sometimes makes difficult for me to do picking with other fingers. So I have been working on that these days.

  • I really love this song played with Uku. The sound is so peacefull!! I wish I could ...

  • Thanks a lot.

I would not have grabbed ukes if I had not seen Ohta-san play this.

  • Great stuff!

The chord backing makes me feel good, it sounds realy like ohta-san.

    Love & Peace

  • Thanks. What I can do is just trying to copy it as it is when there is a great arangement in front of me.

    I like Joe Pass'es arrangement too, but I can't copy it ;-)

  • Beautiful!

  • Thanks for your kind words.

    Still lots to improve.

I played it too strong so the chat mic could pick it up.
