@bitchy775 Hate to break it to you, but the definition you just pulled out of your butt is wrong. There is really no concrete definition of an EP, but it usually depends on the length, not the number of tracks. There are three-track albums. For example, many of Donna Summer's albums from the '70s. And Madonna first two album only had 8 songs. There have been plenty of 8-track albums in recent memory. The only reason TFM is considered an EP by some is because it was tied to The Fame.

@FindingMadonna indeed, many famous progressive rock albums only had one track per album side, like albums by Yes for example, and that was only because Vinyl LPs have sides.... had it been cds it would have been one single track I imagine. An EP is a single with some extra songs on it , ie a single with extended play time added to it . Originally they were longer versions of the song that had appeared on a single, before the age of the remix

actually, The Fame Monster is the sophomore. BTW is her Third Studio Album.

Remember Gaga said TFM could stand on it's own 2 feet, and that it did not need "The Fame" to sale... making it a "Studio Album" :]

3. Extended play is part or extension of the previous album

4. Later on, gaga announced changes, that TFM will stand on its own (without support from the fame songs) - still, considered as an EP

okay so, techniqually The Fame Monster is a EP because it wasnt a full album, tho Ep's are considered their won original work and there for is allowed to chart as an album. buuutt i still consider born this way the third album

It doesnt matter what anybody has said it was i have payed money for 2 fucking albums, well 3 including the remix. Its her 3rd.

It has to count like that because why would The Fame Monster be in the charts wouldnt it of been The Fame back in the charts with the fame monster tracks added?
