Typical vocal minority who demand blast beats from start to finish - that shit was impressive 10 years ago, maybe 5, now everyone's shoving blast pretty much anywhere they can and if anything Krisiun make an effort to still be original - they have blast when they need to, when they don't they have brutality.
Anyone who has a problem with that has probably been poisoned by that "-core" bullshit that's all cloned blasts and no substance.
Great album, still 100% non-stop Krisiun as I love them. Thank you for not trying to do another highspeed record without any sense. Hope to see you back in Germany very soon, your live-power is unbeatable, folks!
people complain about absolutely every good band there is, just because a band puts out 1 single album you happen to not think highly of, and then you shit on their entire careers, you all need to get off the internet and go to a fucking show
@DGWINVASION Wrong. Krisiun has been putting out lackluster shit for almost 10 years now. Morbid Angel havent put out a good album in just as long.
Remember when Krisiun used to give blasting their all? Remember when they used to give solos their all? Is there one solo on the new album that lasts more than 15 minutes and isnt just lazy slow unmemorable dicking? They used to do neoclassical shredding that lasted 2 minutes, had sweeps, tapping, buildup, and climax. They do none of that now!
@DGWINVASION And as a matter of fact, i did see krisiun back in 2008, and they didnt play one single song from the first album. What the fuck was that?
@lebensraummetal these bands that aren't that big in the overall metal spotlight have to promote their newer music, they just simply aren't big enough to play all their old shit the most of the general metal public probably hasn't bought so they wouldn't know anyways, people seem to forget that this music stuff is also a business
@lebensraummetal and Tobiash87: Would you rather like Krisiun to record the same album over and over again? They have been around for twenty years now. Musicians have to refine their style from time to time, and IMO Krisiun managed to do so very well on their new album. I will definitely pick it up. If you don't like it, stop complaining and go listen to their old records.
@Tobiash87 I just heard the title song "The Great Execution" and it does have two or three spots of classic Krisiun sound - "All go, with pounding snare drum".

The most exceptional thing about this song is how unexceptional it is.

@Thrasher1984GER Yes I WOULD like them to record the same album over and over!
There are hundreds of OTHER bands that can record this kind of lazy, uninspired, slow motion crapfest.
I like Krisiun because of the Krisiun sound, not because they are now doing exactly what shit ass other bands do.

@Thrasher1984GER as if its somehow a choice of this garbage and recording the same album over and over.....
