I recommend reading Wasted by Marya Hornbacher, a beautiful memoir about her 14 yr eating disorder and her other fiction book Center of Winter. Also, Bitch by Elizabeth Wurtzel, Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs by Chuck Klosterman. They'll change ya life!

You had me lol @ not wanting 2 pages to describe how hot the weather is. I feel like that too; I'd just wish they would get to the point.
It sometimes changes my mood as far as my excitement level towards reading that particular book...lol
