guys dont get confused the card which support cuda will work rest none start from 8series to up words which support cuda will work i got gt 7300 and it does not have cuda so not gonna work... as well
You got it wrong my friend, the x1600 is very old and new flash features such as acceleration aren't supported. I have an x1900GT and I see no improvements either. The reason for that is that the new flash player relies on the graphics card's stream processors to calculate everything in parallel instead of using one processor. Our old cards do not have any stream processors, only one main core and maybe a few shaders, not that useful. Hope you understood :)
Check the RC notes to make sure your video card is supported. 10.1 is working great on my MBP with the 8600M GT video card. Processor usage dropped from over 90% with 10.0 to under 50% with 10.1. Full HD videos are smooth as can be, but they were with 10.0 too, just less processor usage is the only difference I noticed.

well it is pretty obvious that mac is the problem.
Everybody knows apple, is way behind when it comes to soft/hardware.

That sucks
I think 10.1 supports directx 10 GPU's? but i might be wrong?
I wondering if the X1600 256MB can run 1080 on this MBP? or should I get the 8600GT model instead? Thanks

right now its windows only, see release notes. Side note: works great, cpu dropped from 22% to 3% on hulu.
